To report a possible Battlefield 6 map Easter egg, preserve the untouched screenshot, document exactly where and how it appeared, and submit the report through the EA Forums. That establishes an Easter-egg-solving context for that event and location; it does not verify every community theory, image, or claim about another map.

Community discussions can help you discover leads. A Reddit post uses the wording “Where are the Easter eggs?”, and an EA Forums search result is titled “Battlefield 6 Easter Egg.” Those titles indicate what players are asking about, not that a particular egg has been proven. A Steam guide titled “ALL EASTER EGGS BATTLEFIELD 6” is also community-authored; a guide or search snippet is not independent confirmation.
What counts as a useful screenshot
Your image should let another player understand both what appeared and where it appeared. A polished crop may be attractive, but an unexplained close-up is weak evidence because it removes landmarks, interface state, and scale.

Keep the original file exactly as captured. Do not overwrite it with a crop, sharpened export, added arrows, or typed labels. Retaining the original preserves metadata and gives other players a chance to inspect details you did not notice.

1. Stop and save the first view
When you notice an unusual symbol, sound-linked object, message, animation, or interaction, capture it before experimenting. Save the unmodified image in a separate folder with the date and a short neutral name, such as fort-lyndon-object-2026-10-15-original. Avoid naming it “confirmed-easter-egg”; that embeds an interpretation before verification.
2. Capture a location view
Take a second screenshot from farther away. Include the nearest stable landmark and, when visible, the objective or area label. A minimap can help, but it should supplement—not replace—the physical landmarks. If the game’s interface changes during an interaction, capture the relevant state in both the close and wide views.

3. Record match context immediately
Write down the map, mode, platform, approximate date, and any unusual match conditions. Note whether the match was public, private, an event playlist, or a training environment if you know. Record the game version or update name only when the game displays it or you can verify it; never guess a version from memory.
4. Preserve provenance
Record who captured each image and whether it is your own observation. If another player supplied a screenshot, say so and keep their wording separate from your account. Do not present a copied image as personal evidence. Keep the original file name and, if your device provides it, the capture timestamp.
5. Capture the action, not only the result
Write the sequence in order: starting location, object or clue, interaction key or action, timing, match condition, and result. If the trigger requires several players, a particular score state, a vehicle, or a limited-time event, document that requirement as an observation rather than assuming it is universal.
6. Test without editing the evidence
Before posting, attempt the sequence again. Use a fresh match or a clearly stated reset condition. Keep each attempt’s outcome: success, no change, different result, or inability to reach the location. A failed repetition is valuable because it identifies a possible timing, server, mode, or one-off rendering condition.
7. Prepare separate original and presentation files
Use the untouched capture as the primary attachment. If the forum’s current rules allow additional files, add a marked-up copy or a contact sheet separately. Explain every mark in the caption. Do not rely on an arrow or circle that obscures the object itself.

How to write the EA Forums report
EA’s quoted guidance is simple: “Please continue reporting issues through our EA Forums.” The practical goal is to give another player enough information to repeat the observation and to give moderators a clear distinction between a visible fact and your theory about it.

Include the map and the observable behavior. “Fort Lyndon: symbol appears after interacting with west-tower panel” is more useful than “I found the secret.” If you are unsure whether the location is Fort Lyndon, state that uncertainty in the title or first paragraph.
Put the essential facts first
- Map and area: Name the map and describe the landmark, objective, building, or route.
- Mode and platform: Include the playlist or mode and the platform on which you observed it.
- Date and update context: Give an approximate date and the displayed update or version when known.
- Observation: Describe exactly what was visible, audible, or interactable.
- Steps: List every action in order, including waiting, timing, score, player count, or event conditions.
- Result: State what changed and whether the change persisted.
- Repetitions: Say how many attempts you made and which attempts succeeded.
- Attachments: Identify the original close view, wide view, and any separate annotation.
Separate observation from interpretation
Write “After I held the interaction button, the panel displayed three symbols for about two seconds” as an observation. Write “This proves the panel opens a larger secret” as an interpretation that still needs evidence. This distinction prevents a normal prop, lighting artifact, scripted event, or temporary bug from being reported as a confirmed Easter egg.
State what you did not verify
If you did not test another mode, platform, map rotation, or update, say so. If the screenshot came from another player, label it. Clear limits make the report more credible than a sweeping claim that the behavior works everywhere.

Verification is stronger when several independent checks agree. Use the following framework to assess a claim before calling it confirmed.

Ask for an independent reproduction
Give another player the location and steps without sending your annotated image first. This reduces the chance that your arrows or conclusion guide them toward a coincidental detail. Ask them to report the mode, platform, update context, and outcome, including a failure if the sequence does not work.
Compare conditions, not just screenshots
If one attempt succeeds and another fails, compare the conditions: event playlist, map rotation, round phase, player count, weather or lighting state, interaction timing, and game update. A difference does not prove the egg is fake; it may indicate a hidden trigger or a server-side change. Until that condition is established, describe the behavior as conditional.

Look for authoritative confirmation
EA’s Phantom Program description confirms that Easter eggs exist in that event context across Fort Lyndon. It does not confirm an unrelated symbol or claim on another map. An EA announcement, patch note, or direct developer confirmation can establish intent; a community guide alone cannot.
Common false positives and how to rule them out
Lighting, reflections, and texture artifacts
Capture the same area from another angle and at another point in the round if possible. If the shape moves with the camera, disappears when lighting changes, or lacks a physical source, describe it as a possible rendering artifact until tested further.
Ordinary props mistaken for clues
Show the entire object and compare it with matching props elsewhere on the map. A repeated sign, decal, crate, or model is less persuasive as a unique Easter egg unless an interaction or unusual change distinguishes it.
One-off bugs or desynchronization
Record whether teammates saw the same thing and whether it survived a respawn or a new match. A visual that appears only to one player may be a client-side issue. Report it honestly as an anomalous behavior rather than assigning intent.
Copied community claims
Trace a claim back to the earliest available capture. A Steam guide, forum post, or social-media image may repeat an unsourced statement. Treat it as a lead until the sequence is independently reproduced or confirmed by EA.
Submitting safely when forum mechanics are unclear
The current official material establishes EA Forums as the reporting destination but does not establish the exact category, image attachment rules, file-size limit, or existence of an Easter-egg-specific form. Open the current Battlefield 6 community area, read the visible posting and conduct rules, and use the closest relevant channel. If attachments are restricted, provide the factual description first and follow the forum’s permitted method for sharing evidence.
Do not remove identifying details from the original solely to meet an assumed limit, and do not upload a private message or another player’s image without permission. If you must create a smaller copy for the forum, retain the original locally and label the uploaded file as compressed or resized.
What to do after publishing
- Monitor replies for independent reproductions, not just agreement.
- Update the first post with new conditions or failed tests, preserving the original wording and files.
- Correct the map, mode, or version if an in-game label proves your first description wrong.
- Keep observation and interpretation visibly separate when editing.
- Change the headline or add a clear status note only when repeatability or authoritative confirmation justifies it.
A careful status label can use terms such as “unverified observation,” “reproduced by two players under stated conditions,” or “confirmed by EA.” Avoid “confirmed” when the only support is a single screenshot or a copied guide.
Practical checklist before you press Post
- Original screenshot saved and unaltered.
- Close view and wide location view included when available.
- Map, landmark, mode, platform, date, and known update context stated.
- Interaction sequence written in chronological order.
- Observation separated from your Easter-egg interpretation.
- Personal observations separated from material supplied by another player.
- Repeat attempts and failures recorded.
- Edited annotations uploaded only as separate companion files.
- Current EA Forums category and attachment rules checked at posting time.
- No claim described as confirmed without reproducible or authoritative evidence.
Bottom line for Battlefield 6 Easter-egg reports
Use EA Forums for the report, preserve the untouched screenshot, add a wide location view, and document the complete sequence and conditions.
