To reopen a recently closed page in Chrome on Android, tap the tab switcher, search for it in Search your tabs, and select it under Recently closed tabs if it appears. If you cannot find it there, check History or Inactive tabs.

Open Chrome and tap the tab switcher beside the address bar.

Tap Search your tabs and look for the page. Search results can include recently closed tabs and tabs from other devices. Select the matching page to open it.

The tab switcher and address bar can be positioned differently depending on your device layout, but the tab search is accessed from the tab switcher.

If the page is not in Recently closed tabs
Look in Chrome History

Open Chrome’s menu and tap History.

Tap the page entry to revisit it. To open it in a separate tab, touch and hold the entry, then choose Open in new tab.
If your address bar is at the bottom of the screen, swipe up on it and tap History. Google says Chrome History lists pages visited in the last 90 days. It does not include Incognito pages or pages deleted from browsing history. (Google Chrome Help: Check or delete your Chrome browsing history)

Check Inactive tabs
Open the tab switcher and select Inactive tabs. Google says tabs not used for 14 days or more move to this section; select the tab there to reopen it. (Google Chrome Help: Manage tabs in Chrome – Android)
Check another device
If Chrome History sync is enabled, look for the page on another device signed in to the same Google Account. Synced history can include pages visited on other devices. Open Chrome’s History on that device and select the page if it is listed.

What Chrome cannot restore

Chrome does not guarantee that every closed tab can be recovered, and Google’s Android instructions describe opening individual results rather than a universal restore-all action.

Incognito pages and pages removed from Chrome History are not available in History.

Google documents how to reopen a closed tab group, but deleting a group removes it from the device and other devices using the same Google Account. Do not assume a deleted group or cleared history entry can be recovered.
