Remove an Apple Pay card from your iPhone

Open the Wallet app.

Tap the debit or credit card you want to remove.

Tap the More button.

Tap Card Details.

Scroll down and tap Remove Card.
Apple’s current instructions note that Card Details is not shown on iOS 15 and earlier. For card-specific support, contact the card issuer. Apple Support: Remove cards and passes in Wallet on iPhone.

What removing the card does—and does not do
It affects this iPhone, not your other Apple devices
Removing the payment card from your iPhone does not remove it from Apple Wallet on your other Apple devices. You may need to remove it separately on each device. Apple iPhone User Guide: Remove cards and passes.

It does not cancel subscriptions or preauthorized payments
Removing a card from Wallet does not end a subscription, cancel a preauthorized payment, or close an associated account. Manage the recurring payment with the merchant. Apple also notes that revoking a payment authorization in Wallet does not cancel the subscription, and charges may still occur in some cases. It does not remove your Apple Account billing method
An Apple Pay card in Wallet is different from the payment method used for Apple Account purchases and subscriptions. If you mean your Apple Account billing method, manage it in Settings under your Apple Account’s payment settings instead. Apple says removal may be restricted by subscriptions, an unpaid balance, or Family Sharing purchase sharing. Apple Support: Remove a payment method from your Apple Account.
If the iPhone is lost or stolen
Use another iPhone or iPad to select the missing device in your Apple Account device list and remove Wallet items, or sign in to your Apple Account in a web browser, select the device, and remove items under Wallet & Apple Pay. Marking the device as lost automatically turns off Apple Pay on it. Apple Support: If your iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen.

Remove a card saved for AutoFill instead
AutoFill card details are stored separately from Apple Pay payment cards. To remove an AutoFill card, open Wallet, tap More, then AutoFill, and remove the saved card there. Removing it from AutoFill does not remove the corresponding Apple Pay card. Apple Support: Use AutoFill to fill in credit card information.
Signing out of iCloud removes more than one card
Signing out of iCloud removes credit and debit cards from Wallet on that iPhone, but it is a broad account and device action—not the focused way to remove a single payment card. Use the Wallet steps above when you only want to remove one card from Apple Pay on the phone.
