To stop using Samsung Pay on a device, delete the payment card from Samsung Wallet on that device. Repeat this for every enrolled phone or watch. This removes the digital card from Wallet; it does not cancel the underlying credit or debit card. To cancel that card, contact its issuer.
Choose what you mean by “cancel Samsung Pay”
There are three separate actions that are easy to confuse:

- Stop using a card in Wallet: delete its digital version from each device where it is enrolled.
- Cancel the bank card: ask the card issuer to cancel the physical credit or debit card. Deleting it from Wallet leaves the physical card active.
- Remove a payment method saved for Samsung services: manage that separately in your Samsung Account; it is not the same as removing a Wallet card.
Samsung’s US support guidance describes the Wallet-card removal steps below. Menus and availability can differ by region, app version, and device.

- Open Samsung Wallet.
- Tap All, then Payment cards.
- Select the card you want to remove.
- Tap More options (the three vertical dots), then Delete card.
- If prompted, choose a reason. Confirm Delete and authenticate with your Samsung Wallet PIN or biometrics.
These are the steps in Samsung’s US card-removal instructions. If your screen uses different labels, check the support instructions for your region and device rather than assuming the card has been removed.

Remove the card from a Galaxy Watch separately
A card on a watch is a separate Wallet enrollment: deleting it from your phone does not remove it from the watch, and vice versa. Use the watch’s Samsung Pay or Wallet controls, or the payment or app settings for the watch in Galaxy Wearable. Select the card and delete it. The precise route varies by watch model; if the menus differ, follow Samsung’s device-specific instructions.
Check every enrolled device
Before considering the Wallet cleanup complete, check each phone, watch, or other device on which you enrolled the card. Samsung’s US Samsung Wallet FAQ says removal on one device does not remove the card from another. Deleting the Wallet app alone is not established by Samsung’s cited guidance as a way to remove every enrollment.

Cancel the physical card through its issuer
If your goal is to close or replace the underlying bank card—for example, because it is lost or compromised—contact the bank or other issuer and follow its instructions. Removing the digital card from Samsung Wallet only stops its use through that Wallet enrollment; it does not deactivate the physical card.
Remove a payment method saved to your Samsung Account
A payment method used for other Samsung services may be stored in the Samsung Account separately from Wallet. Samsung’s US terms, dated October 26, 2021, identify Payments and benefits > Payment methods as the account-management location. Why a card may disappear automatically
Samsung Korea says Wallet cards can be deleted automatically in certain cases, including repeated incorrect payment-PIN attempts or an issuer suspension.
