Redeem a 10-digit discount code from your PS5 cart
- Open PlayStation Store on your PS5 and add the item or items you want to buy to your cart.
- In the cart, select Enter Discount Code.
- Enter the 10-digit discount code.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase.
PlayStation says a discount code is applied to the Store shopping cart during checkout. The support page does not state a publication date. PlayStation Support: How to redeem a PlayStation Store voucher code.

Know the difference between a discount code and a voucher
A 10-digit discount code is entered in the cart as part of a purchase. The PS5 More > Redeem Code menu is for 12-digit PlayStation Store vouchers, which may add wallet credit or provide content. A gift card adds wallet funds through the voucher flow; it is not a substitute for a discount code.

PlayStation’s voucher guidance says vouchers must match the account’s region, can be used once, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Some subscription vouchers require a valid payment method. Check these restrictions before checkout
- Discount codes cannot be applied to subscription services or pre-orders.
- You cannot combine a discount code with another discount code in the same purchase.
- A discount code can be used for only one purchase.
- Read the code’s own terms, including eligible products, any age or regional restrictions, and its expiration date. Sony’s US terms say product codes may be unavailable in some countries or to some users and may have age restrictions or a specified expiration date; these terms do not guarantee that every code works for every account or item. If your discount code is rejected
- Check that you entered all 10 digits correctly.
- Review the code’s supplied terms for eligible purchases, account or region limits, age requirements, and expiry.
- Check PlayStation Network status. If there is no network problem, sign out of your account and sign back in, then try again. PlayStation lists these as general voucher troubleshooting steps; its page does not provide a complete list of discount-code error messages. PlayStation Support: PS Store & Refunds.
