Set up a Sken.io email alert
- Open Sken.io’s create-job page and name the monitoring job.
- Enter the URL of the page you want to monitor. Sken.io describes its service as monitoring public pages without requiring changes to the target website.
- Select the area that contains the change you care about, such as a price, availability status, job listing, or clause. Sken.io says the rest of the page is ignored when you select an area.
- Choose a monitoring mode: Visual for rendered appearance, or Content for text and numbers where styling changes should not trigger an alert.
- Choose a check interval, from once a minute to once a month. One check is one page visit, so shorter intervals use your check allowance faster.
- Enter your destination address in the form’s Notification email field, then save or create the job using the form’s available control.
- When an alert arrives, inspect the comparison and available snapshots to see what changed. Sken.io says it keeps up to 12 snapshots per monitoring task.
The form provides the notification email field and the monitoring-mode and frequency controls. Account-specific screens after job creation are not described in the available setup information, so the exact post-save flow may vary.

Choose the change signal and interval
Visual mode
Use Visual mode when the visible appearance matters—for example, when a label, image, layout, or availability state changes. It is the better fit when the change is meaningful even if the underlying text is similar.

Content mode
Use Content mode when the text or a number is the signal, such as a price changing. It avoids treating styling changes alone as the change you are monitoring.

Set the checking frequency
Choose an interval based on how soon you need to know about a change and how much of your plan’s check allowance you can spend. Because one check equals one page visit, more frequent checks consume the allowance faster.
Reduce irrelevant changes
If recurring banners, popups, chat widgets, or ads create noise, Sken.io describes an Element Removal mode for removing those items. Selecting a narrowly relevant page area can also help avoid alerts for unrelated parts of the page.
Check allowance and plan context
As shown on Sken.io’s official pages on October 3, 2026, the homepage advertised a 14-day free trial with 140 checks and all features unlocked, without a credit card or setup fee. The pricing page listed these plans and allowances at that time:

Email is one of several notification options Sken.io lists. Its homepage also names Android app push, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension. The Chrome Web Store listing describes email, browser, and mobile notifications for an extension connected to a Sken.io account; it lists version 2.0.0, updated June 11, 2026.
