How combat fits into the survival loop
Nintendo characterizes combat as challenging and says David scavenges weapons and tools while facing human and monster enemies. The official Switch listing does not document attack sequences, dodge or block inputs, enemy weaknesses, weapon statistics or tested combat tactics, so there is no verified combo or timing to follow here.

As a general approach, use the in-game prompts to learn each action, pay attention to threats as you move, and consider whether an encounter is worth engaging with before committing. Exploring the city and dealing with Titans
The game combines platforming with metroidvania-style exploration through hazardous urban districts. Nintendo’s description points to environmental puzzles, resources, weapons and tools, as well as collapsing buildings, toxic leaks and fires. As you traverse, watch for routes and obstacles you can interact with, keep an eye out for supplies, and take the surroundings into account when deciding how to proceed. Those are practical ways to read the environment, not a claim about a specific route or unlock order.

Titans are also part of the environment and the threat landscape. Nintendo says Monarch technology and the prototype ORCA Σ, inspired by that technology, let players influence Titan behavior. The listing does not specify a particular sequence or optimal method, so follow the game’s own prompts when those mechanics appear.
