To pair Noise Master Buds Open, put the earbuds into pairing mode, then select them from your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Android may also offer a Google Fast Pair prompt; on an iPhone, use the Bluetooth device list. Noise’s published five-second case-button instruction is for the general Master Buds family, not specifically the Open model, so follow the Open earbuds’ in-box directions if the control or device name differs.
Before you start
- Keep the phone and earbuds close together.
- Make sure the earbuds and case have charge.
- Check the Open model’s in-box directions for its case control and Bluetooth name. Noise’s product page identifies the device as Master Buds Open, while its pairing support article covers the general Master Buds family. The separately listed ALT Buds Open is a different model.
Put Master Buds Open into pairing mode
Noise’s general Master Buds instructions say to place the earbuds in their case, open the lid, and hold the case button for five seconds. That instruction is not confirmed as Open-specific. If your case control or the result differs, use the directions supplied with Master Buds Open rather than assuming the general-family button sequence applies.

Pair with an Android phone
- Put the earbuds into pairing mode using the instructions for your model.
- Open the phone’s Bluetooth settings and scan for nearby devices.
- Select the matching Master Buds Open entry. Noise’s general Master Buds article gives “Noise Buds 1” as the displayed name, but does not confirm that name for the Open model.
Noise says Google Fast Pair may show a popup when Bluetooth and Location are on, the case is open, the earbuds are in pairing mode, and you are signed in to a Google account. Tap the prompt if it appears. If it does not, or if you dismiss it, select the earbuds from the Bluetooth device list instead.

Pair with an iPhone
- Put the earbuds into pairing mode using the Open model’s instructions.
- On the iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on if needed.
- Choose the matching Master Buds Open entry under available devices. If the name differs, refer to the earbuds’ supplied directions.
Noise’s Fast Pair guidance is for Android; an iPhone pairing prompt is not established by that guidance. Use the Bluetooth list to connect.

If the earbuds do not appear or reconnect
Try these checks in order before resetting the earbuds:
- Toggle Bluetooth off and back on.
- Turn Airplane mode on, then off, and scan again.
- Restart the phone.
- In Bluetooth settings, forget or remove the previously saved earbuds entry, then put the earbuds back into pairing mode and reconnect.
- Check the charge in the earbuds and case. Noise’s general Master Buds troubleshooting recommends charging for 30 minutes as a check.
Reset only if the earlier checks fail
Noise’s general Master Buds instructions say to fully charge the earbuds, remove “Noise Buds 1” from the phone’s paired devices, place both earbuds in the open case, and hold the case button for 15 seconds until the orange LED blinks. This reset sequence is not confirmed specifically for Master Buds Open. If the button, Bluetooth name, or LED behavior differs, use the Open model’s own reset directions rather than applying that sequence.

Why the model distinction matters
Noise’s product page names this product “Master Buds Open,” and its support catalog lists “ALT Buds Open” separately. The available detailed pairing article is for “Noise Master Buds Truly Wireless Earbuds,” not Master Buds Open. Its general-family steps are useful guidance, but the supplied Open-model instructions take precedence wherever the case control, device name, or reset behavior differs.
