To pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro, use Samsung’s integrated setup on a Galaxy phone, or standard Bluetooth pairing on an iPhone or Windows PC. On a Samsung phone, the setup path depends on One UI version; on iPhone and PC, some Galaxy-specific features are unavailable.
Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with a Samsung phone
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone. Put both earbuds in the charging case, close it briefly, then open it near the phone.
- Follow the connection pop-up and on-screen instructions. With One UI 8 or later, Samsung says Buds settings can be managed from the phone’s settings. With One UI 7 or earlier, use the Galaxy Wearable app to set up and pair the earbuds. - If no pop-up appears, leave the earbuds in the open case and hold the Connect button on the back of the case for more than three seconds. Then scan for the Buds in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and select them.
- Keep the earbuds in the open case while the connection completes. Samsung’s Galaxy S26-specific guidance says pairing can time out if it is not completed within three minutes; closing and reopening the case restarts pairing mode. Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with an iPhone
- Put the earbuds in their case and open it. If they have already been paired with another device, hold the case’s Connect button for more than three seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On the iPhone, open Bluetooth settings and select Galaxy Buds4 Pro from the available devices. Complete a pairing prompt if one appears.

Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with a Windows PC
- Put both earbuds in the case and open it.
- Hold the Connect button on the back of the case for more than three seconds. Samsung’s Windows guide describes the indicator flashing blue, red, and green repeatedly when the Buds are in pairing mode.
- In Windows, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth, select Galaxy Buds, and choose Connect. Menu names can vary by Windows version.
Samsung’s documented steps are for Windows laptops, and the company notes that illustrations and instructions can vary by model, software version, and region. What works on iPhone and PC—and what does not
Samsung lists Bluetooth connectivity, ANC, and Ambient Mode for iOS devices and PCs on its US product page. For those Bluetooth connections, Samsung specifies 16-bit/44.1 kHz audio and standard call quality. Samsung says compatible Android devices can use Galaxy Wearable, but some capabilities require compatible Galaxy or Android devices and specific software versions. The company identifies HD Voice (Super Clear Call), 24-bit/96-kHz audio, 360 Audio, 360 Audio Recording, voice wake-up features, Interpreter/Live Translate, Head Gestures, and Gaming Mode among features excluded from the non-Galaxy Android feature set. If the Buds do not appear in Bluetooth
- Re-enter pairing mode: Put both earbuds in the open case and hold the Connect button for more than three seconds, then scan again from the device you want to connect.
- Check for an existing connection: If the Buds are still connected to a previously paired device, disconnect them there or put them back into pairing mode before scanning from the new device. Samsung’s Buds4 and Buds4 Pro connection guide
- On Windows, verify Bluetooth is on: Then use Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device after putting the Buds in pairing mode. Samsung Germany’s Windows laptop pairing guide
- If pairing times out on a Galaxy S26: Samsung’s instructions say to close and reopen the case to restart pairing mode, then complete the connection within three minutes. This timing is specific to that model guidance. Samsung’s Buds4 and Buds4 Pro connection guide
