Yes, Galaxy Buds4 Pro work with an iPhone, but only as standard Bluetooth earbuds. You get music, calls, active noise cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Mode. You don’t get the Galaxy Wearable app, Hi-Fi audio, 360 Audio, Interpreter, firmware updates or most of Samsung’s other extras. This guide lists what is and isn’t available, based on Samsung’s own documentation.
How Buds4 Pro connect to an iPhone
Samsung’s FAQ for the earbuds says: “iOS devices connect via Bluetooth only, just like PCs, game consoles, and other Bluetooth-enabled audio devices.” Samsung’s product-page disclosures also state that the Galaxy Wearable app is not supported on iOS. Don’t look for a Buds4 Pro companion app in the App Store. Samsung doesn’t offer one. (Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro page)

Samsung’s separate iOS support article lists Buds4 and Buds4 Pro among the Bluetooth-only models. It says iPhone 5 or later on iOS 9.0 or later can connect. That is broad, generic guidance, not a recommendation for buying today. (Samsung: Galaxy Buds that are compatible with iOS)
Pairing with an iPhone
Pairing happens in the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, like any other headset. Put the earbuds in Bluetooth pairing mode, open Settings > Bluetooth on the iPhone, and select the earbuds when they appear. Menu labels vary by iOS version. Samsung’s retrieved pages don’t give a Buds4 Pro-specific pairing gesture. Samsung’s pop-up pairing is a Galaxy-phone experience, so don’t expect it on iPhone.

- Audio and calls: Samsung’s FAQ gives 16-bit/44 kHz audio and standard call quality on iOS.

The Android setup workaround
Samsung’s chart footnote marks some features with double asterisks: Adaptive Noise Control, Adaptive ANC/EQ, equalizer, voice/siren detection and voice command. They can be enabled by connecting the earbuds to an Android device and turning them on in Galaxy Wearable. Samsung says they stay enabled until the same Android process turns them off.

The workaround has limits. You need access to a compatible Android phone. The iPhone can’t adjust or switch off those settings, and changing the equalizer later means going back to Android. Treat it as a one-time setup trick, not full support.

Buds4 Pro make sense on iPhone if you want solid ANC earbuds and don’t care about Samsung’s extras. They’re a weaker fit if you value in-app controls, firmware updates, find-my-earbuds tracking or high-resolution audio. Those are the things you lose. Most of what sets them apart from ordinary Bluetooth earbuds is tied to Galaxy phones.

No accessory is required for iPhone use. The case supports wireless charging, but Samsung sells the pad separately. The box contains the earbuds, charging case, three ear-tip sizes and a quick start guide, with no charger or USB-C cable.
