To pair Beats Solo 4, hold the power button on the right earcup until the indicator lights flash, then choose Beats Solo 4 in your device’s Bluetooth settings. The button action is the same for each device; the menu path varies.
Put Beats Solo 4 in pairing mode
- Keep the headphones near the phone or computer you want to connect.
- Press and hold the power button on the right earcup until the indicator lights flash. Apple says flashing lights mean the headphones are ready to pair.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the device and select Beats Solo 4. If Android asks you to confirm, tap Pair.

Pair with an iPhone
- Turn on the headphones and hold them near your iPhone. If a setup animation appears, follow its onscreen instructions.
- If no animation appears, open Settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on.
- Tap Beats Solo 4 in the available devices list.
Pair with an Android phone
- Open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
- Make sure Bluetooth is on, then select Beats Solo 4.
- Tap Pair if prompted.
Android labels vary by manufacturer and software version. If your menus differ, find Bluetooth in your phone’s Settings and select the headphones from its available devices.
Pair with a Mac
- Choose Apple menu > System Settings > Bluetooth.
- Make sure Bluetooth is on and put Beats Solo 4 in pairing mode.
- Select Beats Solo 4 in the device list and click Connect.
Pair with a Windows PC
- Put Beats Solo 4 in pairing mode.
- Open your PC’s Bluetooth or device-pairing controls and follow the instructions for your version of Windows.
- Select Beats Solo 4 when it appears in the available devices.
Apple’s guide includes Windows PCs as Bluetooth devices but does not specify a Windows menu path. The exact controls can differ between Windows releases and PC configurations.

What to expect when using more than one device
After setup with one Apple device, Beats are automatically paired to other devices where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account. After setup with an Android device, they’re automatically paired to other devices signed in to the same Google Account. Apple’s guide does not describe this account-based behavior as transferring between Apple and Google accounts.

- On iPhone, if the setup animation does not appear, use Settings > Bluetooth and select Beats Solo 4 manually.
- On a computer whose menus do not match the steps above, use that computer’s Bluetooth pairing instructions.
Apple notes that not all features are available in every country or region. Its Beats Solo 4 user guide provides model-specific guidance; software requirements and settings can change, so check the instructions for your device and software version.
