Treat a move from LiveReacting to Gyre as a rebuild, not a one-click transfer: the documented setup flows do not establish a direct project importer or guarantee that an existing YouTube event URL will carry over. Inventory each broadcast, recreate its playlist and schedule in Gyre, then test the replacement before retiring the LiveReacting version.
What changes when you move
LiveReacting’s scheduled playlist workflow uses an ordered set of videos, a connected channel, a run length, and selected dates or recurrence. Its documentation also distinguishes scheduled runs from continuous 24/7 streams. Gyre’s documented workflow uses files uploaded to Gyre Storage, an arranged playlist, a connected YouTube account or stream destination, and start or schedule settings. LiveReacting’s scheduling feature and Gyre’s product updates describe their respective workflows; neither establishes a direct LiveReacting project import.

Gyre says a playlist restarts from the beginning when it reaches its end. Its scheduler controls when a broadcast starts and ends. That is not evidence that every LiveReacting recurrence or event setting maps identically, so compare the actual options available in your Gyre account before switching.

1. Inventory every LiveReacting broadcast
Before changing anything, make a separate record for every scheduled project. Capture the details that determine what viewers see and when they see it:
#1 Best Overall
- HD streaming made simple: With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
- YouTube channel and the stream’s title, description, and thumbnail.
- Video files and their playlist order, including the first and final items that define the loop boundary.
- Whether the playlist loops, the planned run length, selected dates, and any recurrence pattern.
- Overlays or other scene settings that matter to the finished broadcast.
- The YouTube watch-page or event URL already shared with viewers.
Keep a copy of the existing event information and promotion links. The available setup descriptions do not say whether a Gyre-created event can reuse, preserve, or associate with the existing YouTube URL; do not assume that it will.
2. Rebuild the playlist in Gyre
- Sign in to Gyre and open its storage or media area. Upload the video files needed for the project to Gyre Storage.
- Review any file Gyre flags and prepare or optimize it as the service requests before continuing.
- Create or open the destination playlist, then arrange the videos in the intended order.
- Check the first and last files together. Since Gyre’s described playlist behavior restarts at the beginning after the final file, choose a loop boundary that makes sense for your program.
Do not assume that a LiveReacting project’s settings, overlays, or imported media sources transfer with the files. Recreate the elements you need in Gyre and confirm the result in its preview or account workflow.

3. Connect the YouTube channel and schedule the stream
- In Gyre, choose the connection option shown for your account and authorize the correct YouTube channel. The September 2026 Gyre update describes authorization through the YouTube API; it also describes manual stream-key setup as available. Product interfaces and plan access can change, so follow the option currently displayed in your account.
- Select the rebuilt playlist and enter the intended start time, end time, or both in Streams Scheduler, according to the controls available to your account.
- Re-enter each upcoming date deliberately. LiveReacting says its described schedule uses the computer’s local time zone and supports dates up to 30 days ahead and up to 50 repeat runs within 30 days. Gyre’s described scheduler does not establish identical recurrence rules.
- Check the time zone shown by Gyre and verify the next scheduled run against the intended local time. Confirm that the connected destination is the channel you inventoried, not another YouTube account.
- Recreate the stream metadata and thumbnail as needed, then check what event or watch page Gyre creates and what URL it provides.
If scheduling controls are unavailable, check whether they are included in your Gyre plan before assuming the setup has failed. The September 2026 update describes scheduler access on trial, Start+, and PRO+ plans, but not Start; availability may change.
4. Test the replacement before switching viewers over
Run a controlled test or wait for the first scheduled event while you still have the inventory and old event details available. Check the whole path rather than only whether Gyre accepts the schedule:

- The intended YouTube channel receives the broadcast.
- The title, description, thumbnail, and audience-facing event or watch-page URL are correct.
- The playlist begins with the correct file, plays in the intended order, and behaves as expected at the end.
- The broadcast starts and ends at the intended times, with the correct time zone and recurrence.
- Any important overlays or scene details are present in the new setup.
Once the replacement is confirmed, update links in descriptions, community posts, websites, and other promotions to point to the correct event. The documented workflows do not describe a one-click migration or a rollback mechanism, so keep the old project and event details until the new run has been verified.
5. Resolve event-link and import questions with Gyre
Before announcing a seamless transfer, ask Gyre support two precise questions: can it import a LiveReacting project or playlist, and can it preserve or associate the existing upcoming YouTube event URLs? The product setup descriptions reviewed do not answer either question. Until Gyre confirms otherwise for your account, plan to recreate the setup and treat the destination event link as something to verify and potentially replace.

Or let it run in the cloud
If the goal is simply to keep uploaded video looping as a YouTube live stream, StreamNeo is an alternative: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo runs the playback in the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It is YouTube-only and plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a live camera feed.
