To process an order in Bluehost AI Store, open Websites in the Bluehost Portal, choose Manage Store for your Sell Online site, then select Orders. Open an order to verify payment and customer details, update its status to match what has actually happened, and add tracking information in the Fulfillment section after arranging shipment through your own carrier workflow.
Find and review a customer order
- Sign in to the Bluehost Portal.
- Select Websites and find the site with the Sell Online plan. If it is not visible, select Load More.
- Select Manage Store, then select Orders in the AI Store dashboard’s left menu.
- Search by order number, customer name, or email address. Use the status filter if you need to narrow the list, then select View on the order.
Bluehost describes the Orders tab as the hub for purchases, order statuses, payment information, and fulfillment. The order view lets you inspect products and SKUs, quantities, unit prices, shipping, tax, and total; the order timeline and current status; payment method and state, transaction ID, and amount paid; and customer contact details plus billing and shipping addresses. Check the payment state and delivery address before dispatching goods.

Update fulfillment and shipment details
In the order’s Fulfillment section, enter tracking information and maintain shipment updates. Add an internal note when you need to record a fulfillment action or customer-related detail; Bluehost says internal notes are not visible to customers.

Bluehost’s order guide covers tracking details and shipment updates, but does not document those carrier and physical dispatch steps; handle them through your own carrier and shipping workflow.

Create an order manually for a customer
If a customer is having trouble placing an order through the storefront, you can enter it from the dashboard:
- From Orders, select + Create Order.
- Find or add the customer. The guide allows you to create the order for a guest customer.
- Select the products and enter the shipping address.
- Enter shipping charges and applicable tax, choose the order status, and add an optional note.
- Save the order. Bluehost says it receives an order number and is tagged Pending payment in WooCommerce.
Confirm the entered items, address, charges, and tax before saving. Creating the order records the purchase in the store; it does not itself confirm payment or dispatch.

Configure shipping, payments, and tax separately
Order handling depends on the store’s checkout setup. Configure shipping methods, rates, delivery times, conditions, and geographic zones under Shipping. Set payment gateways and checkout payment methods under Payments. Bluehost’s Payments guidance documents Stripe and supported card and digital-wallet methods. Tax configuration changes sync with WooCommerce, while Bluehost says advanced tax setup must be done directly in WooCommerce.

If the store cannot receive or show orders
- No orders appear: confirm that you are viewing the correct website and searching with the order number, customer name, or email; try the status filter as well.
- Customers cannot place orders: verify that the store is published and that the site has the Sell Online plan. Bluehost says the trial permits store design and configuration, while publishing, selling products, and processing orders require Sell Online.
- Shipping or checkout options are wrong: review the settings under Shipping or Payments, as appropriate.
Handle refunds, printing, and removal as separate actions
Refunding an order is different from fulfilling it. Bluehost’s documented process is to open the order, select Refund, verify or adjust the refund amount, enter a reason, and submit. Bluehost says refunds are handled through Stripe and typically reach the original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed posting date.

The Orders FAQ also lists printing an order and moving an order to trash. Bluehost’s guide says a trashed order is removed from the active orders list. Use removal only when appropriate for your records; it is not a substitute for changing the order’s fulfillment status.
