To loop Hindi guided sleep audio with rain sounds on YouTube Live, prepare a finished audio-video program, send it through an encoder that supports repeating the source, then preview and start the broadcast in YouTube Studio. YouTube’s setup flow handles delivery to the channel; the repeat control belongs to the encoder you choose, so test the loop and its audio before going live.
Prepare the narration and rain ambience
- Assemble the program. Combine your Hindi narration with rain ambience in an audio or video project you control. Keep the narration and ambience as separate tracks or files until the mix is settled; that makes it easier to adjust their balance or replace a sound whose rights are uncertain.
- Make the transition loop cleanly. Choose a program length and ending that can transition naturally back to its beginning. Listen across the loop point: narration should not restart mid-phrase, and the ambience should not jump, click, clip, or drop out. If the transition is distracting, revise the edit or choose a more suitable repeat point before broadcasting.
- Export or select the finished source. Use a media file or project format supported by your chosen encoder. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance does not specify a particular file format or repeat setting, so consult the current documentation for that encoder.
Check rights for the live stream and replay
You need permission for the material in the live feed and for any replay you retain. YouTube’s livestream terms require content providers to have the necessary worldwide rights for live content, including music licensing rights. A license should explicitly cover the intended uses, such as live transmission, monetization if applicable, territories, and archived replay.

- Original recordings: You control your recording, but check rights in any composition, performer contribution, sample, or other material included in it.
- YouTube Audio Library: YouTube recommends its Audio Library for music and sound effects. Check the individual asset’s terms and any attribution requirements.
- Creator Music: It may be available for monetized videos in certain regions. Confirm regional availability and the specific track’s terms.
- Third-party libraries: Read the actual license for live streaming and replay. A “free” label or an attribution line alone does not establish that the use is permitted.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can lead to a placeholder, interruption, or termination, even if you have a license. If licensed material is enrolled in Content ID, ask the rights holder about adding your channel to its allowlist before the broadcast; without that, YouTube says a stream may still be interrupted.

Set up YouTube Live and connect your encoder
- Check eligibility. YouTube’s getting-started guidance says a channel must be verified, have had no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days, and be operated by someone at least 16 years old to stream. Check current access in YouTube Studio, since feature access and restrictions can change.
- Open the live workflow. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live. Create a stream or schedule one from Manage.
- Copy the connection details. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream, then enter them in your encoder. Treat the key as private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Configure repeating in the encoder. Enable repeat or loop for the prepared source using that encoder’s current documented workflow. YouTube’s setup pages explain how to send a feed, but do not establish loop controls for OBS, hardware encoders, or other specific products. Confirm how the encoder behaves at the end of a file, after a connection loss, and when left unattended for your planned duration.
- Preview before publishing. Start the encoder and wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room. Check the video and audio, including the narration-to-rain balance and the loop transition, then select Go live. Monitor the stream while it is running.
- Decide what happens to the archive. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If you retain a replay, the rights for its contents must cover that use too.
Choose an encoder by the job it needs to do
The official setup guidance establishes the YouTube connection and launch workflow, not a product-by-product encoder comparison. Before choosing a tool, check its current instructions and verify these practical points:

- Can it repeat a local file or playlist, and how does playback restart at the end?
- Does the audio remain continuous at the loop point?
- How does it behave after a connection loss, and can it run unattended for the intended duration?
- Can you monitor the outgoing audio and video before and during the stream?
A microphone is optional when you are streaming an already prepared source. If you are recording your own Hindi narration, a microphone may be useful, but it is not required for this workflow.
Troubleshoot common problems
