To loop a Free Fire MAX recording on YouTube Live, send the video file through a streaming encoder to a YouTube stream you created in YouTube Studio. Configure the encoder to repeat the file, then preview and monitor the broadcast. YouTube supports gameplay broadcasts through software or hardware encoders; the exact loop control depends on the encoder you choose.
What you need before you start
- A recorded Free Fire MAX gameplay video that you have the right to use, including its music and other audio.
- A YouTube channel eligible to stream live. YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
- An encoder that can play a media file and repeat it. YouTube accepts software and dedicated hardware encoders, but loop controls vary, so check the current manual for your chosen encoder.
- A stable internet connection with enough upload capacity for the encoder’s total streaming bitrate.
You do not need a capture card simply to broadcast an existing recording: the encoder sends the file to YouTube rather than capturing live gameplay from your phone.

Set up the YouTube Live stream
- In YouTube Studio, open the live-stream creation flow and create or schedule a stream. Follow YouTube’s current encoder setup steps at YouTube Help: encoder live streaming.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the broadcast into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not share it or include it in screenshots or recordings.
- Set the encoder’s video source to your recorded gameplay file. Find the encoder’s repeat or loop control and enable it; verify the setting in that encoder’s current documentation rather than assuming it will repeat automatically.
- Configure resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and keyframe interval according to the encoder’s supported options and YouTube’s current recommendations. YouTube’s linked setup page provides platform-specific guidance; avoid settings that exceed your connection’s stable upload capacity.
- Start the encoder’s preview or send a test signal, then check the preview in YouTube Live Control Room. Confirm the video and audio are present and that the recording reaches its end and starts again as intended.
- When the preview is correct, start the live broadcast in the encoder or Live Control Room as prompted by your setup. Keep an eye on the broadcast while it runs.
Test the loop and connection before going live
YouTube recommends previewing the stream, checking that it is accessible, and monitoring audio and video. Its general streaming guidance recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom over the total streaming bitrate; this is guidance, not a guarantee that a particular resolution will work on your connection. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips and stream setup guidance.
Recommended Free Tools
- Watch the preview long enough to confirm the file is playing and the audio is neither missing nor distorted.
- Confirm the encoder actually returns to the beginning of the file. A stream continuing after the recording ends is not proof that the file is looping.
- Check the live preview from another device or account if practical, and verify the stream is accessible to its intended audience.
- Keep upload capacity available for other devices and activity on the same connection; competing uploads can destabilize the broadcast.
Choose latency and DVR for the viewing experience
YouTube’s latency setting controls the delay between encoding and what viewers see. DVR, when enabled, lets viewers pause and resume an active stream. These choices affect how viewers experience the broadcast; they do not control whether the encoder repeats the gameplay file. See YouTube’s latency and DVR settings guidance.

Copyright, game terms, and account safety
Use footage and audio you are entitled to broadcast
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects such material, the stream may show a placeholder, receive a warning, be interrupted, or be terminated. An archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim. Repeating a recording does not remove copyright risk or guarantee monetization. Review YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance and use gameplay footage, music, and other audio for which you have appropriate rights.
Do not assume Garena has authorized a rebroadcast
Garena’s retrieved India terms reserve rights in the game and its content and contain restrictions on use, but do not directly settle whether a player may rebroadcast Free Fire MAX recordings. If permission is important to your use, check the current applicable terms or ask Garena rather than treating this workflow as authorization. See Garena India’s terms.

Keep the encoder separate from the game client
Garena’s India support material warns that unauthorized tools interacting with the game client and non-official programs that provide a gameplay edge may result in a ban. Use an encoder to play the recording outside the game client; do not use cheats, modified clients, or tools that alter gameplay. See Garena’s ban notice and anti-hack FAQ. These support pages surfaced with 2023 dates, so check Garena’s current guidance as well.
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live stream | The channel may not be verified, may have a live-stream restriction within the prior 90 days, or may still be waiting for first-time enablement. | Check channel verification and eligibility in YouTube Studio; allow up to 24 hours for first-time enablement as YouTube advises. |
| YouTube receives no video | The encoder may have the wrong stream URL or key, or may not be sending its source. | Compare the encoder URL and key with the current stream in YouTube Studio, then check the encoder output and Live Control Room preview. Do not expose the key while troubleshooting. |
| The recording stops at the end | The encoder’s repeat option may be off, unavailable, or configured for a different source. | Check the encoder’s current manual and confirm the media source is set to repeat; test through the end of the file before starting the public broadcast. |
| Video or audio stutters | The connection may not sustain the total streaming bitrate, or other activity may be using upload capacity. | Check encoder and YouTube preview status, reduce the output settings if needed, and preserve the upload headroom YouTube recommends. |
| The stream shows a warning, placeholder, or interruption | YouTube may have identified third-party material or another live-stream issue. | Review the Live Control Room notice and the rights status of the footage, music, and audio; resolve the underlying issue rather than simply restarting the same material. |
Or let it run in the cloud
