Its published instructions do not establish that you can paste in a YouTube playlist URL and use those videos without adding the source media to Livepush. If you only want a playlist to repeat for viewers on YouTube, use YouTube’s own Loop control instead; that does not create a live broadcast.
First, decide which kind of looping you need
| Your goal | Method | What happens | What it does not do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Repeat a playlist while someone watches it on YouTube | YouTube’s playlist Loop control | YouTube repeats playlist playback for the viewer. | It does not create a YouTube Live event. |
| Broadcast a playlist continuously as a YouTube Live stream | Add source videos in Livepush, connect YouTube as the destination, and enable Loop Video. | Livepush sends the playlist as a live broadcast and repeats it until you stop it. | The reviewed Livepush instructions do not establish direct import from a YouTube playlist URL. |
These workflows solve different problems. Connecting YouTube in Livepush means choosing where the resulting broadcast goes; it does not mean importing videos from your YouTube channel into Livepush.

What “without re-uploading videos” means in Livepush
Livepush’s video-add guide, published January 25, 2025, describes adding source videos to its pre-recorded live dashboard. It lists selecting local video files and importing from Google Drive, Dropbox, or a web URL that provides a downloadable link. The guide does not say that a YouTube watch URL or playlist URL can be used as source media, nor that connecting a YouTube account imports playlist videos. That feature is therefore not established by the published instructions; check with Livepush if you need that exact shortcut.
Keep the three actions separate:
- Add source media: Provide the video files or a documented downloadable source to Livepush.
- Set the destination: Connect or configure YouTube so Livepush can send the broadcast to a YouTube Live event.
- Loop viewer playback: Use YouTube’s Loop control to repeat a playlist for a viewer; this is not a Livepush broadcast.
Do not assume that a YouTube link is a downloadable source, and do not use third-party downloaders or copy videos unless you have the rights and the method complies with the relevant services’ terms.

Set up a looping YouTube Live broadcast in Livepush
- Open the pre-recorded live dashboard. Create or open the Livepush dashboard used for pre-recorded live streaming.
- Add your source videos. Select the video files or use one of the documented sources: Google Drive, Dropbox, or a web URL that provides a downloadable link. A YouTube playlist URL is not confirmed as a supported source by the reviewed guide.
- Arrange multiple videos in a playlist. Put them in the order you want. Livepush says multi-video playlist streaming plays uploaded videos back to back as one continuous broadcast and re-encodes them to common encoding parameters to help avoid glitches, freezes, or drops at transitions. See the Livepush multi-video playlist guide.
- Connect YouTube as the destination. Follow Livepush’s YouTube destination guide to authorize a YouTube account, select or create a YouTube Live event, set its title and privacy, and save the destination.
- Enable Loop Video. In the pre-recorded live dashboard, turn on the Loop Video option for the playlist. Livepush’s guide says the playlist continues until you manually stop it.
- Start now or schedule. Start the event, or use Schedule For Later if you want it to begin at a later time. Confirm the selected YouTube Live event and playlist before starting.
Livepush’s Help Center describes the result this way: “Your video playlist will keep looping indefinitely 24×7 till you manually stop it.” The statement describes the configured playlist’s playback behavior; it is not a guarantee about YouTube availability or a claim that a YouTube playlist URL can be imported. See How to Live stream 24×7 with Video Looping.
If you only need a playlist to repeat on YouTube
- Open a video from the YouTube playlist.
- Expand the playlist box.
- Click Loop.
YouTube Help’s instruction is: “In the playlist box, click Loop.” This repeats playback for the person watching the playlist; it does not start a YouTube Live broadcast. See Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.

Check plan eligibility before relying on continuous looping
Livepush’s looping help article says the feature comes with plans that include the 24/7 schedule channel. Its multi-video article also discusses plan availability, but plan names, inclusions, and prices can change. Check Livepush’s current plan details before subscribing or scheduling a continuous multi-video loop; do not rely on an older help page for current pricing.
