On a computer, right-click the video and choose Loop; on Android, open Settings → Additional settings → Loop video. For a conference with several session recordings, put them in a playlist and loop the playlist. These controls repeat playback for the viewer—they do not start a new live broadcast.
Find the ended event’s replay
Once the broadcast has ended, the item to play is the event archive or replay posted on the channel, not the active live player. YouTube says a live-stream archive is uploaded to the channel by default, and recommends organizing archives and highlights into playlists. Loop one replay on your device
Computer
- Open the replay’s YouTube watch page.
- Right-click inside the video player.
- Select Loop. YouTube says, “The video will repeat continuously.”

- Open the replay in the YouTube app.
- Tap Settings → Additional settings → Loop video.

TV or gaming console
- Start the replay and press down on the remote or controller to show playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the control indicates Repeat • Currently playing. You can also look for Repeat in the playback Settings.

YouTube’s labels and controls can change between app versions and devices. If the wording differs, check the current playback Settings or playlist controls.

Loop a playlist of conference sessions
If the event has separate recordings for keynotes, panels, or talks, add them to a YouTube playlist and start playback from that playlist. Use its Loop control to repeat the sequence. On a TV or console, select Repeat until it indicates Repeat • Playlist. A single video inside a playlist can also be selected for repeat when you want to keep one session playing instead of cycling through the whole event.

Why the replay may be missing
YouTube Help says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. The 12-hour threshold is YouTube’s operational archive guidance, not a guarantee that every shorter stream will be available. YouTube recommends keeping a local archive backup. - Check the channel’s live content: In YouTube Studio, open Content → Live and check whether the archive is present and its visibility. YouTube’s archive controls allow visibility edits or deletion.
- For an event longer than 12 hours: Do not assume YouTube captured it automatically. Check the local recording made during production.
YouTube advises checking that local archive files are intact and continue growing during production. That safeguard matters because a missing or incomplete local recording cannot be fixed with the playback Loop control. YouTube live streaming tips — Computer

Replay looping is not live DVR
DVR lets viewers pause, rewind, and resume while a broadcast is live. It is not a repeat-after-end feature; after the event ends, use the posted archive’s Loop or Repeat control. YouTube notes that DVR may be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours, and viewers cannot seek to a point before the stream began. YouTube Help: Turn on DVR on live streams
If you mean rebroadcasting the recording as live
Looping an archive on its watch page only repeats playback for that viewer; it does not republish the recording as a new live event. YouTube’s official guidance covers encoder streaming and Live Redirect to a Premiere or another live stream, but does not establish a specific workflow for repeatedly feeding a finished conference recording into a new live broadcast. Consult current YouTube Live and encoder guidance before setting up that different workflow. YouTube Help: Manage live stream settings
