1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo open your Verizon router settings, first identify whether you have Verizon 5G Home or Fios: 5G Home uses my.router or 192.168.0.1, while Fios advanced settings use myfiosgateway.com or 192.168.1.1. Connect to the router, sign in with its administrator credentials, and avoid changing settings you do not understand.
Choose the correct Verizon router settings page
The local addresses differ by service, so do not treat the 5G Home and Fios login pages as interchangeable. Check the router’s model label if you are unsure which device you have. Verizon lists Fios models including G3100, CR1000A, and CR1000B; the model number is on the bottom of the router. See Verizon’s Fios router FAQ.

- CONNECT MORE DEVICES: Wi-Fi 6 technology communicates more data to more devices simultaneously using revolutionary OFDMA technology
- EXTENSIVE COVERAGE: Achieve the strong, reliable WiFi coverage with Archer AX1800 as it focuses signal strength to your devices far away using Beamforming technology, 4 high-gain antennas and an advanced front-end module (FEM) chipset
- OUR CYBERSECURITY COMMITMENT: TP-Link is a signatory of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure-by-Design pledge. This device is designed, built, and maintained, with advanced security as a core requirement.
What settings can you change?
The 5G Home Router WebGUI includes Wi-Fi and LAN configuration. LAN options listed by Verizon include the router IP address, subnet mask, DNS selection, DHCP on or off, DHCP start and end addresses, and lease time. The available controls can vary by router. Verizon warns: “Changing advanced settings (e.g., IP address, Subnet mask, etc.) may be harmful to the stability, performance and security of the 5G Home Router.” See its LAN settings guide.
- Change only settings whose purpose and effect you understand.
- Record the current value before editing so you can restore it if needed.
- If a change disrupts access, consult Verizon’s model-specific support instead of starting with a factory reset.
Take care before disabling Wi-Fi through the 5G Home admin page: Verizon cautions that you may be unable to re-enable Wi-Fi after a factory reset if it has been disabled there. Review the 5G Home access instructions before changing wireless access settings.

If the login page does not open
- Confirm the service and address. Use the 5G Home address for a 5G Home Router and the Fios address for a Fios router.
- Connect to the router itself. For 5G Home, Verizon explicitly requires an active connection from the device to the router. Try its Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
- Check the label. Use the default administrator password printed on the router; the label location differs by router family.
- For 5G Home, distinguish passwords. The Wi-Fi join password and the admin WebGUI password have different roles. If the admin password was changed and forgotten, use the security-question recovery option.
- For Fios, choose the right management route. My Verizon is an option for settings management; the local page is used for advanced settings.
Verizon’s 5G Home access guide, sign-in guide, and Fios FAQ provide router-family-specific directions.
