To keep a Hindi devotional video playlist live on YouTube from a cloud server, prepare videos you have permission to rebroadcast, run a playlist and encoder process on the server, and send its feed to a YouTube broadcast using the server URL and stream key from YouTube Studio. YouTube documents 24/7 live feeds, but does not provision your server or guarantee uninterrupted streaming. You must choose, configure, and monitor the server software yourself—or use a managed cloud service.
1. Confirm the channel can livestream
Before preparing a launch, verify the YouTube channel and enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it ahead of the planned start. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and its encoder setup instructions describe these requirements.

2. Check the playlist and rebroadcast rights
Use video and audio that your channel owns or is licensed to stream live. The devotional or religious nature of a song does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast it. Check rights for each recording, arrangement, performance, and video; having a copy of a track is not the same as having streaming rights.
A playlist of YouTube watch-page links is not an encoder feed. The workflow here is to play media available to your server and transmit the resulting audio-and-video signal to YouTube. Do not assume that a third-party stream or a URL that plays in a browser is a permitted or technically suitable input.

3. Choose how to run the cloud playout
Self-managed cloud server
With a self-managed virtual server, you choose and operate the media-playback and encoding software, give it access to the playlist files, supervise the process, and monitor its output. You control configuration, but you are responsible for keeping the process running and responding to failures. Server size, storage, software, and process supervision depend on the implementation; YouTube’s documentation does not specify a server configuration for this use.
Managed cloud playout
A managed service may take care of some hosting or stream automation. Before choosing one, verify that it supports continuous YouTube streaming, your media formats and desired quality, and the recovery and archive behavior you need. Also check its data handling and terms. No particular third-party cloud provider or playout product is established here as suitable.

4. Create a YouTube broadcast and connect the server
- Open YouTube Studio: select Create → Go Live and configure a broadcast. The exact options shown can vary with the channel and Studio interface.
- Copy the ingest details: obtain the YouTube Live server URL and stream key shown for the broadcast or stream in Studio.
- Configure the encoder: enter that server URL and stream key in the cloud playout software, then select the media playlist and encoding settings. The server URL tells the encoder where to send its feed; the key associates the feed with the YouTube stream.
- Protect the key: treat it like a credential. Do not publish it, include it in public logs, or share it with people who should not control the stream. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Preview before launch: start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview and stream-health indicators before making the broadcast public.
YouTube explains the encoder connection workflow, including the server URL and stream key, in its live-stream setup instructions.
5. Set a bitrate and format the server can sustain
Use a stable upload connection from the cloud server and choose settings appropriate for the source video and available bandwidth. YouTube’s encoder-settings page lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 as supported video ingestion codecs, and AAC and MP3 for audio. It recommends constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval, and a keyframe interval no longer than four seconds. For RTMP ingestion, YouTube recommends RTMPS, which encrypts the feed to Google’s servers.

As one concrete reference point, YouTube’s current settings table lists H.264 1080p at 30 fps with a 5 Mbps minimum and 14 Mbps recommended bitrate. Those are YouTube’s technical settings for that resolution and frame rate, not a guarantee that a particular server, route, or source will perform reliably. Choose a sustainable bitrate, test it with representative motion and audio, and check stream health. See YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for its full current recommendations.
6. Plan the loop, monitoring, and interruptions
Configure the chosen playout software to repeat the playlist in the order you intend and to keep the encoder process supervised. How to set loop behavior, restart a failed process, retain logs, or send alerts depends on the software and cloud provider; there is no universal command or server specification established by YouTube’s guidance.

- Check the Live Control Room preview and stream-health status after launch and during operation.
- Arrange a way to notice a stopped encoder, a missing playlist file, or a loss of server connectivity.
- Verify what happens after a process or server restart, including whether the encoder reconnects to the intended broadcast.
- Test the entire playlist cycle and representative audio/video before relying on it for continuous use.
YouTube’s API documentation describes a 24/7 live-feed use case, including operating a separate broadcast while the continuous feed remains live. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that a longer continuous feed will produce one complete, uninterrupted archive. If you need recordings, verify the current archive behavior for your broadcast and plan how to handle recording, segmentation, or restarts separately from the live playlist. YouTube’s encoder instructions describe its automatic-archive statement for streams under 12 hours.

8. Troubleshoot common failures
