Install Titanfall 2 on a Windows PC, run CircuitLord’s community VR Mod Installer, start your headset’s VR runtime, then use the installer’s Launch in VR button. Launching Titanfall 2 normally still starts the unmodded game. The mod targets the campaign and keeps its save separate from your regular campaign save.
What you need before installing
- Titanfall 2 for Windows PC, installed through Steam, the EA app, or Xbox.
- A PC-connected VR headset and its runtime. The project documentation does not provide a complete headset/runtime compatibility list, so check that your setup works with the runtime you plan to use.
- The EA app. The installer checks for it and says it is needed to play. If it is missing, the project README advises launching Titanfall 2 once so the app can be installed.
No minimum PC specifications or frame-rate target are established in the project documentation. Avoid assuming that a particular graphics card or level of performance is guaranteed.

How to install the Titanfall 2 VR mod
- Install Titanfall 2 and confirm the EA app is present. The installer looks for the game in the Steam, EA, or Xbox installation locations. If the EA app is not installed, launch the game once and let the app setup complete.
- Download and open CircuitLord’s VR Mod Installer from the official project repository. Follow the installer prompts to install the mod.
- Let the installer create its separate profile. It installs Northstar and Titanfall 2 VR into a separate
TF2VRprofile in the game directory.
This is a community project, not an official Respawn or Electronic Arts release. The installer source is MIT-licensed, but the project README says the installed mods are closed source and may not be redistributed without permission.

Launch the mod with your headset
- Connect your headset to the PC and start SteamVR or the VR runtime used by your headset.
- Open CircuitLord’s installer and select Launch in VR.
The project README states: “Launching Titanfall 2 normally stays unmodded.” In other words, use the installer’s VR launch flow for the modded campaign; starting the game through its usual shortcut or launcher starts the regular, non-VR version.

Where the VR campaign saves
The installer documents %LOCALAPPDATA%RespawnTitanfall2_VR as the VR save location. The VR campaign starts a new save, so do not expect existing campaign progress to transfer into it.
What the mod supports—and what is not established
The project describes Titanfall 2 VR as a campaign mod. The available documentation does not establish multiplayer support. It also does not offer a full headset compatibility matrix, minimum PC requirements, or a performance target; compatibility and performance may vary by PC, headset, and runtime.

Because this is an actively maintained community project, check the official repository for current release information rather than relying on version numbers or package sizes quoted in older coverage.
