Install a Nomad mod from the in-game manager

Browse or search the Mod.io library in the manager. Choose a mod marked for Nomad, not the PCVR version, and check that it supports your installed game version. The developer describes the manager as separating Nomad and PCVR mods and filtering by the game version being played. Developer announcement

Select the mod and choose the manager’s install option. If the manager identifies prerequisites, let it download them too; the developer says it can fetch prerequisites automatically.

Allow the download and installation to finish, then follow any in-game prompt to return to play. If the mod does not show up or work, check its platform and game-version requirements before trying another install method.
Check compatibility before downloading
Nomad and PCVR are different versions
A mod made for the PCVR edition is not automatically compatible with Nomad. Select a listing that explicitly supports Nomad; do not rely on a similar title or thumbnail as proof.

Match the game version
A mod that worked with an earlier game release may stop working after the game updates. The manager’s version filtering helps you find relevant listings, but the mod itself still needs to have been updated for the version you are playing. Use Nexus only if you want its separate workflow
Nexus has its own Blade & Sorcery: Nomad catalog, but it is not the official Mod.io manager built into the game. One unofficial Nexus manager listing describes installing and loading that mod first, then authorizing Nexus access to browse and download from within the game. Because it is an additional mod with its own setup and download options, use the listing’s current instructions and verify Nomad and game-version compatibility for each mod.

Manual installation with a PC
Manual installation is for players who specifically need to place a downloaded mod themselves; it is not required for the in-game manager. The Blade & Sorcery modding guide describes downloading and extracting the mod, connecting the Quest to a PC, then copying the mod folder to:

The guide warns that Android V63 made manual Android installation more difficult. Quest file access and operating-system prompts can change, so follow the current device prompts and consult the Nomad mod-installation guide before attempting file transfer. A headset-only tutorial using older phone or file-access methods may no longer match the current setup.

Uninstall a mod
For mods installed through the in-game manager, open the game’s Mods section and use its uninstall control. The developer says Nomad mods can be uninstalled in-headset without a PC. If you installed a mod manually or through a separate manager, remove it using that method’s current instructions rather than assuming the in-game manager controls it.
