Choose AdGuard by where you want ads filtered: in one browser, across a device, through DNS, or across a self-hosted network. Then install the matching product from AdGuard’s official download page or the relevant app store. These are separate products with different setup paths, not interchangeable ways to install the same app.
Choose the AdGuard option that matches your needs

Install AdGuard on Windows
- Open AdGuard’s official download page and select the Windows download.
- Run the downloaded installer. Approve the Windows User Account Control prompt if it appears.
- Select an installation destination if prompted, then choose Install.
- Launch AdGuard after setup completes.
The download page’s currently indexed Windows instructions describe version 8.0 and a 14-day trial. These details can change, so check the page for the version and terms shown when you download rather than relying on those figures as permanent information.

Install AdGuard on Mac
- Download the Mac DMG from AdGuard’s official download page.
- Open the DMG and launch the AdGuard icon or installer it contains.
- Approve the macOS prompt if one appears, then click Install.
- Enter administrator credentials when macOS requests them, and finish the installation.
Install AdGuard on Android
AdGuard says its Android app cannot be published on Google Play. Its Support Center lists AppGallery, Mi Store, and Samsung Galaxy Store as store options, and provides instructions for manual APK installation. Start with AdGuard’s current Android app instructions to choose the supported route for your device.

- If using a listed store, find AdGuard there and follow that store’s installation prompts.
- If installing an APK, download it using AdGuard’s official instructions. If Android prompts you, allow installation from the browser or other source you used to download the file.
- On some Samsung devices running One UI 6 / Android 14 or newer, Auto Blocker may stop the APK from installing. AdGuard advises turning off that specific setting for the installation and turning it back on afterward.
Only change the installation permission or Samsung setting needed for this documented install issue; this is not a reason to disable unrelated Android security protections.
Install AdGuard on iPhone or iPad
AdGuard’s platform guide directs iPhone and iPad users to the App Store. Open the AdGuard platform guide for the current route, then install the iOS app from Apple’s App Store. Check the current app listing and AdGuard documentation for the filtering features available on iOS; the sources cited here do not establish that iOS has the same capabilities as the desktop apps.

Browser extension
Choose the AdGuard Browser Extension if you want filtering within a supported browser rather than a platform app. Use AdGuard’s product catalog to reach the extension for your browser and follow its current installation instructions.

AdGuard DNS
AdGuard DNS is a separate DNS-based option in the product catalog. The available sources do not establish a single setup path or encrypted DNS protocol for every device, so use AdGuard’s current product information and the instructions for your specific device rather than applying a guessed settings path.
