To remove holidays from the Calendar view on your iPhone, open Calendar, tap Calendars, and deselect US Holidays or the holiday calendar for your region. Tap Done if it appears. This hides the holidays; it does not delete them from Apple’s built-in calendar.
Hide holidays from the iPhone Calendar

Find US Holidays or the holiday calendar for your country or region.

Deselect the checkmark beside that calendar. Its events will no longer appear in your calendar view.

Tap Done if that control appears.
Apple’s Holidays calendar instructions describe hiding the calendar by deselecting it in the Calendars list. Button placement and labels may vary with iOS version and language.

Hide versus delete: what the setting does
Deselecting the calendar changes whether its events are shown; it does not remove the holiday calendar or delete its entries. Apple’s built-in Holidays calendar is a subscription, and Apple says, “You can’t add or delete holidays, because subscription calendars can be modified only by the calendar provider.”
Some ordinary calendars can be deleted or unsubscribed from through their information controls. Apple’s calendar removal instructions note that a calendar that cannot be removed, such as US Holidays, can instead be hidden. If the holiday calendar offers no delete or unsubscribe option, deselect it.
Which holidays appear, and how to add another region
The built-in Holidays calendar displays holidays based on the region set on your iPhone. You do not need to change the iPhone’s region to hide the calendar; deselect it in the Calendars list.

If holidays still appear

In the Calendars list, check that the holiday calendar for your region is deselected. A separately added holiday calendar may have a different name.

If more than one holiday calendar is selected, deselect each one whose events you do not want to see.

If the calendar is a subscription and does not provide a delete or unsubscribe control, use the visibility checkmark to hide it.
