Nurture Bloom is the route for both forms, but the two work differently. A nurtured Wild Surge can produce an Umbral Aniimo as a chance encounter, while Prismana progress builds through area Prismatic Energy and the Prismana Flow system. Pawprint Studio confirmed both systems and their recent changes in a developer letter dated September 3, 2026. Neither result is guaranteed on a single surge, so the practical approach is to run the loop efficiently and track the two goals separately.
How to start a Wild Surge through Nurture Bloom
The access requirement and menu flow below come from a third-party Wild Surge guide, not from the developer letter. Confirm each label in your current build.

- Unlock nurture access in the target area. The guide says this requires that area’s Bronze Collection Badge, earned at 40% completion of the local Aniimo collection. Neither the developer letter nor the official probability page states this threshold, so check it in your game before planning around it.
- Start the nurture from the map. The guide describes opening the nurture from the area map, then selecting the marked Bloom to attract Aniimo.
- Let the surge run. According to the guide, a Wild Surge lasts three minutes or ends early once every Aniimo in it has been caught.
- Catch surge Aniimo rather than defeating them. The guide says caught Aniimo release Prismatic Energy when you return to the Bloom. Repeating the loop builds area energy toward Prismana Flow. No fixed number of rounds is guaranteed, because species, bonuses and patches change the yield.
- Use Tumblers on surge targets when you have them. The official Aniimo probability page lists a ×6 multiplier for Tumblers used on Wild Surge targets. It is the clearest efficiency option backed by an official source.
How do you get Umbral Aniimo?
Pawprint Studio’s developer letter states that Wild Surges triggered through ecosystem nurturing “now offer a chance to encounter Umbral Aniimo, who have Perfect Potential and distinctive coloration.” Umbral Aniimo also appear by chance in the open world. The letter does not promise an Umbral in every surge, so treat the nurture as a chance encounter rather than a reliable source.
Appearance is the one point where a secondary source adds a warning. A third-party daily variants guide reports that an Umbral’s dark sheen disappears when it evolves, while its Perfect Potential remains. The developer letter does not address this. If you collect for the look, keep the specimen unevolved and check the result in your own game first.

How do you get Prismana Aniimo?
Prismana progress runs on area Prismatic Energy and Prismana Flow, which is a separate system from Umbral encounters. An Umbral appearance is a chance encounter, not a Flow result, and the developer’s wording does not link the two.
The official probability page lists a 3% instant Prismana Flow chance on a nurture paid with Vein Essence, with a pity threshold of 10,500 Prismatic Energy. Pawprint Studio’s letter says the Prismana nurture trigger chance is flat rather than reduced at low Prismatic Energy, and that the guarantee system remains in place. A Lucky Strike can grant items and increase area energy, and it can directly trigger Prismana Flow.

What changed in the developer’s update
Pawprint Studio’s September 3, 2026 letter states, “Offering quality no longer affects Wild Surge quality.” Older guides that tie a better offering to a better surge are out of date and should not guide your routine.

- The Bronze Collection Badge threshold for the area you want to nurture. Only the third-party guide reports the 40% figure.
- The current nurture menu labels and the three-minute window, which may shift between patches.
- Your remaining free nurtures and when they refill, since the guide’s charge details are secondary-source information.
- Whether an Umbral you catch keeps its dark sheen after evolution, if its look matters to you.
The official probability figures and the developer’s statements on Umbral chances, Prismana flat trigger rates and offering quality are the most reliable parts of this route. Check the patch notes for any changes to Nurture Bloom before you commit a large amount of Vein Essence or Tumblers.
