To unlock the giant bird mount in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, complete The Wild Hunt in Fellhollow: speak to Vannaka, collect three Primordial Hearts from Nature Spirits, and bring them back to him. The reward unlocks the summonable Terrorbird.
Before you start The Wild Hunt
You need access to Fellhollow. AllThingsHow reports that the region becomes accessible after partially completing Withering Heights. Once there, find Vannaka in Bleakfields Valley; VGC places him west of where you meet Cathan.

Talk to Vannaka before searching for the spirits. He gives you The Wild Hunt and asks you to bring him three Primordial Hearts.

Look for spectral bird-like Nature Spirits in Fellhollow. AllThingsHow lists Witchwillow Range, Emberwood, and Dragon’s Run as reported locations. VGC describes the spirits more broadly across western Fellhollow, particularly near the Mirror Mirror quest, and also mentions Emberwood and Dragon’s Run. Treat the named areas as places to search, not a guarantee that every spirit appears only there.

Defeat the spirits and collect their hearts
- Search the reported Fellhollow areas for a Nature Spirit.
- Defeat it and collect the Primordial Heart it drops.
- Repeat until you have three hearts.
Then return to Vannaka in Bleakfields Valley and hand over all three. The reviewed walkthroughs identify this hand-in as the step that unlocks the Terrorbird mount.

After completing the hand-in, use the mount-summoning prompt. VGC reports holding Y on an Xbox controller, but controls can vary by platform or game update; check the current in-game prompt rather than assuming that button applies to your setup.

VGC reports several limits to riding: you cannot fight or gather while mounted, you cannot ride inside dungeons, and taking damage ejects you from the mount. In Fellhollow, crossing the soul-sapping mire counts as damage, so it can dismount you during travel.
