To get Pond in Fortnite, search for Sprites by exploring the island, opening chests and trying Cheat Codes, then extract Pond before the match ends. There is no verified fixed Pond spawn location or guaranteed code tier for this particular Sprite, so use several search routes rather than camping at one spot.
How to find and collect Pond
- Choose an eligible mode. Sprites are unavailable in competitive modes, according to Epic Support. Use a noncompetitive mode where Sprites are available.
- Search as you play. Explore the island, open chests and try Cheat Codes when you find them. A current Pond-specific guide lists these as ways to find Sprites but does not identify a fixed Pond spawn area.
- Extract Pond when you find it. Epic explains that extraction adds a Sprite to your collection. If you are eliminated before extracting it, the Sprite is left on the battlefield and another player may pick it up. See Epic’s Runners announcement.
- Confirm it is in your collection. Check after extraction; finding Pond during a match is not the same as completing the collection step.
Where does Pond spawn?
No fixed Pond location is listed in the current specialist guide. That means a named point of interest or coordinate should not be treated as a reliable destination. Keep moving, check chests, and use Cheat Codes rather than waiting at one unverified spot.

Can a Cheat Code guarantee Pond?
No. The specialist guide reports that Rare and Epic Cheat Codes can drop Sprites of any rarity, while Epic codes have better odds for variants and higher-rarity Sprites. A Legendary code reportedly guarantees a variant, but not Pond specifically. These are opportunities, not a Pond guarantee, and the sources do not provide comparative success rates for codes, roaming or chests.

The specialist guide describes Pond’s ability as a Super Jump: jump shortly after landing to trigger it. The effect reportedly improves as Pond levels up. Official sources consulted do not establish exact jump height, cooldown or charge count, so those figures should not be treated as confirmed.

When was Pond added?
Epic’s Chapter 7 Season 4 announcement says a new Sprite generation would arrive in Override and names Pond by Pine & Kiri among the Design-A-Sprite contest winners: Epic’s Season 4 announcement. The specialist guide dates Pond’s arrival to the September 17, 2026 v42.20 update; that date is secondary-source reporting.

No verified numeric drop rate is available. The specialist guide says Epic has not published Season 4 Sprite rates, so a percentage for finding Pond would be speculation. Sprite availability and mechanics can also change as Fortnite updates.
