What to expect from the Switch 2 edition

Check storage and play requirements
The Nintendo eShop estimates that the Switch 2 game requires 14.6 GB of storage. The listing notes that actual installation needs can vary. It describes the game as single-player, supports multiple languages and says cloud-save support requires a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Check the Nintendo eShop listing for the current regional details.

Use prompts for controls
Follow the in-game instructions for the exact button assignments. The official pages identify Joy-Con 2 mouse-style controls as an edition feature, but do not give a complete button-by-button control chart or opening walkthrough. If you want to try that control style, consult the game’s prompts for how to use it in context.

Thinner reshapes and can reveal secrets
Thinner changes the environment and can uncover secrets. The official descriptions do not establish that paint or thinner is always the better choice, or specify the exact consequences of each choice in particular situations. Experiment as the game introduces the tools rather than assuming there is one universally correct approach.
Try movement actions as they are introduced
The publisher also lists dash, ground pound and sprint among the gameplay actions. Treat them as movement and combat options to learn when the game introduces them, not as a required opening sequence. Follow on-screen prompts and practice each action when it becomes relevant; the available official descriptions do not specify button mappings or a prescribed order.
