When an alert arrives, open the retailer page and confirm the item is still purchasable before checking out: an alert is not a stock reservation or a guarantee.
Choose the bundle and confirm its current price
Start with Nintendo’s US retail offers page to see the official bundle names, terms, and listed prices. As listed by Nintendo Store on October 9, 2026, the Mario Kart World bundle is $549.99. The page lists the Sports Resort bundle at $529.99, with availability beginning October 22, 2026. The latter date is in the future as of October 13, 2026, so check the listing again rather than assuming it is already available.

Nintendo says the Mario Kart World bundle includes the console, game, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership; the Sports Resort offer includes the console, a full game download, and a three-month membership. Nintendo notes that its savings comparisons are based on buying components separately, actual savings may vary, and offers last while supplies last. The standalone US system MSRP is $499.99 effective September 1, 2026, according to Nintendo’s price-update information; that is not a bundle price. Nintendo’s US prices exclude tax.

Decide which bundle, retailers, and fulfillment options you will accept. If you need local pickup, include stores near you; an online listing and a particular store’s pickup inventory can differ. Compare the complete offer when it appears: bundle contents, seller, price, tax and shipping, and pickup or delivery availability.

Set up alerts for the exact product listing
1. Open the listing at each retailer you can use
Go to the retailer’s product page for the specific bundle, not just a general Switch 2 page. Listings and stock status can be SKU-specific. If pickup matters, select your local store and check nearby locations where the retailer allows it. Engadget’s older buying guide discusses checking store availability, but retailer rules and inventory change, so verify them on the live store page.
Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop are among the retailers mentioned in the available tracker and buying-guide sources. Treat the older buying-guide details as historical context, not as current purchasing policy. For example, its report that some Amazon listings used invitations in 2025 does not establish Amazon’s current policy.
Rank #2
- The next evolution of Nintendo Switch
- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*
- GameChat** lets you voice chat, share your game screen, and connect via video chat as you play
2. Turn on retailer notifications if the listing offers them
Sign in and use the notification control that is actually available on that product page, if one appears. Retailer controls and notification channels can vary by item, location, and time; there is no single setup path that can be assumed for every store. Do not rely on a notification option until you have confirmed it is present for the bundle listing you want.
3. Add an independent tracker as a backup
Check that the tracker covers the exact bundle and retailer before subscribing. Current pages provide different examples of coverage and alert methods:

- NowInStock’s Nintendo Switch 2 tracker lists multiple bundle and retailer entries, including Mario Kart World and Sports Resort bundles. It describes free alerts, browser alerts, external alert channels, and automatic updates every minute. Those are provider-stated features, not independently measured performance.
- HotStock’s US Switch 2 page lists retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop and promotes app-based tracking and alerts. Confirm that the specific bundle listing—not merely the general console—is covered.
- TrackaLacker’s Best Buy Switch 2 listing says it tracks stock and price and offers sign-up and device alerts. Its page includes affiliate links.
These services do not provide comparable independent measurements of alert speed or checkout success, so there is no sound basis here to rank one as fastest or most reliable. Their coverage can change, and an alert can arrive after stock has already moved.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to do when an alert arrives
- Open the retailer’s live product page for the exact bundle as soon as practical.
- Check that the bundle is still available to buy through the retailer and the seller is acceptable to you.
- Review the current total, including tax and shipping, and confirm the bundle contents and your delivery or pickup option.
- Complete checkout on the retailer’s site if the offer still meets your requirements.
A tracker status is a signal to check, not proof that inventory remains available. The sources document stock monitoring and notifications, not reserved units or guaranteed checkout.
Quick Recap
Keep the routine current
- Recheck the official offer page and retailer listings when you are ready to buy; prices, stock, offer terms, and notification controls can change.
- Keep separate alerts for separate bundle listings if either would work for you. A tracker following a console listing may not cover a bundle SKU.
- For purchases outside the United States, check your country’s retailer pages and tracker coverage. The cited retailer pricing and HotStock page are US-focused; NowInStock links country-specific trackers, but that does not establish complete coverage or identical alert instructions elsewhere.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
