To make iPhone message notifications repeat, go to Settings > Notifications > Messages > Customize Notifications > Repeat Alerts, then choose a repeat count from Never to 10 Times. Apple says repeat alerts arrive at two-minute intervals.
Turn on repeat alerts for Messages

Open Settings on your iPhone.

Tap Notifications, then Messages.

Tap Customize Notifications.

Tap Repeat Alerts and select the number of repeats you want, from Never to 10 Times. Apple’s iPhone guide documents this setting.

If the Repeat Alerts option is missing or messages stay silent

Check the Messages notification settings. Make sure notifications for Messages are allowed. Menu labels and availability can vary with iOS version and region; if the documented path does not match your phone, check for the latest software and consult the iPhone guide for your version.

Check whether Messages is open. Apple notes that you may not receive a notification for each new message while Messages is open and active. Apple Support

Check the conversation’s Hide Alerts setting. A conversation with Hide Alerts enabled may not notify you. Review that conversation’s notification settings if alerts are missing only for one person or group. Apple Support

Check where notifications are going. When an Apple Watch is in use, notifications go to either the Watch or iPhone, not both. Check the Watch if the iPhone appears not to alert. Apple Support

Check sound and delivery timing. If an alert appears but cannot be heard, review sound and silent-mode settings. Focus can delay notifications, while Scheduled Summary can group included notifications for delivery later. Apple’s notification guidance
