How to Get Google Hotels Prices with an API in 2026

Google documents partner APIs for sending hotel rates and managing Hotel Center data, not a public endpoint to retrieve arbitrary Google Hotels prices. Learn which integration path fits your use case in 2026.

Google does not document a public API for querying arbitrary Google Hotels prices. Its documented Hotel Prices tools are primarily for participating hotels and partners to send prices to Google, while the Travel Partner API manages Hotel Center data and reports. If you need prices for your own properties, use a Hotel Center feed or an eligible integration partner; if you need to search Google Hotels prices as an outside developer, the documented APIs do not provide that general-purpose access.

Does Google Hotels have a public price-search API?

Google’s Hotel Prices documentation describes tools for implementing resources that provide hotel pricing data for Google’s search results. Google Ads Help also describes Hotel prices as usable as part of a Hotel Ads API implementation and says only participating Hotel Ads partners can bid on booking links (About Hotel prices).

Those interfaces are for providing or managing partner-side hotel data, not a documented endpoint for an outside developer to request prices for arbitrary Google Hotels listings. The official materials reviewed do not establish that no private or licensed data product exists, but they do not describe a general public price-query API.

How can a hotel or platform send prices to Google?

Eligible hotels, booking platforms, and connectivity providers can configure Hotel Center and supply property, rate, availability, and inventory data. Google’s Hotel Prices overview links implementation guidance for hotel lists, pricing, queries, landing pages, and bidding. The main feed choices include ARI and itinerary-based delivery; choose according to how your systems represent rates and how you can maintain updates.

ARI: push availability, rates, and inventory changes

Google’s ARI overview describes a push-based approach: partners send changes as pricing or availability changes, rather than relying only on itinerary requests. ARI can carry nightly rates, restrictions, inventory, taxes, fees, and promotions. Google says it can combine granular nightly data into different itineraries, which it presents as a way to improve bandwidth efficiency, price accuracy, and itinerary coverage; those are Google’s stated benefits, not independent performance measurements.

Google says prices are unavailable until all four required message types have been sent:

  • Transaction: property, room, and rate-plan data.
  • Rate: rate amounts and related pricing information.
  • Inventory: room inventory.
  • Availability: whether the room or rate can be booked.

After initial setup, send updates when rates or availability change. Check feed status and price accuracy in Hotel Center as part of operating the integration.

Itinerary-based delivery

Itinerary-based delivery addresses pricing for requested stays, while ARI sends granular nightly data and incremental changes that Google can use across itineraries. Compare the methods against your source system’s rate model, ability to push timely changes, itinerary breadth, feed operations, and handling of restrictions, taxes, fees, and promotions. Google’s documentation explains the technical methods but does not establish a universal cost, service-level, or coverage winner.

What does the Travel Partner API do?

The Travel Partner API is a REST API at https://travelpartner.googleapis.com for managing Hotel Center data. Google positions it for large or complex accounts and recommends client libraries. Its documented resources include account links, hotel views, participation reports, price accuracy and coverage views, price views, property performance reports, and reconciliation reports. It is an account-management and reporting interface, not a general hotel search endpoint.

Should you integrate directly or use a connectivity partner?

A direct Hotel Center integration gives a participating organization control over its own feed, but it also requires the engineering and operations capacity to configure, update, and monitor that feed. A connectivity partner may be a practical setup route when your organization needs help with implementation or ongoing feed management. Google recommends third-party integration assistance for Hotel Ads and provides a connectivity-partner directory through its Hotels developer materials.

Before selecting a partner, confirm that it can serve your property set and regions, supports the feed features you need, offers suitable diagnostics and support, and has contractual permission to handle your data. Google’s cited materials do not establish universal provider pricing, service levels, property coverage, or referral commissions.

What changed for Hotel Ads in 2026?

Google Hotel Center Help says its third-party rates feature for Hotel Ads and Performance Max for Travel Goals became unavailable after September 30, 2026. For affected Hotel Ads campaigns, Google says ads stop serving across Hotel Ads inventory, including the Booking Module and Travel Promotion Ads. To continue showing Hotel Ads, advertisers must set up a direct price feed through an integration partner or Hotel Center, link the feed to Google Ads, and recreate their campaigns (About Google third-party rates for hotel ads).

Performance Max for Travel Goals campaigns can continue on other channels such as Search, Display, and YouTube. Google also says advertisers using Performance Max without a Hotel Center account may show Google-sourced third-party rates that advertisers cannot change; Google may filter feeds with low price-accuracy scores, and coverage is not guaranteed. This guidance concerns ad serving and does not create a public API for retrieving those rates.

If you need prices for a comparison or search product

If you do not operate a participating hotel or partner account, do not treat the Travel Partner API as a substitute for a consumer search API. Investigate a licensed hotel inventory provider or an integration partner, then verify its actual data access, geographic coverage, permitted use, and commercial terms before building around it. Google’s partner directory is a starting point for feed integration, not evidence that a listed provider offers unrestricted Google Hotels price retrieval.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
