If it does not, use a product-tracking extension or service that supports that retailer. An alert is only a prompt to check the listing—stock can disappear before you complete checkout.
Start with the retailer’s own alert
- Open the exact product listing and look for a button or link such as “Notify Me,” “Get restock alerts” or “Email me when available.”
- If the page offers choices, select the size, color, model or other variant you want before signing up. An alert for a different variant may not help.
- Enter the requested email address or sign in, then follow any confirmation steps the store shows.
- Check the retailer’s terms for how long the request remains active and whether an account is required. Keep an eye on the inbox or notification channel you selected.
Not every retailer provides this option. Oracle Retail’s merchant documentation describes a configurable “Notify Me” feature that can send email when an out-of-stock product returns; it is not a universal setting. If the store has no alert, choose a tracker
A browser extension or multi-store tracking service can watch a product page and notify you when it detects a change. Before relying on one, check the exact retailer and variant, notification channel, checking cadence, privacy approach, watch limits and cost. Also find out whether monitoring continues when your browser is closed or a tab is not open; that behavior differs by tool.

The Restock Radar extension listing says its free plan allows three active watches checked every 15 minutes; its Pro plan allows unlimited watches and checks as fast as every 60 seconds. Is In Stock says it covers over 10,000 retailers and checks every 10 minutes, with email or desktop alerts. These are the company’s claims, not independently verified coverage or speed figures; confirm that your specific product page and variant work before depending on a watch. Is In Stock.
Ibotta also advertises restock notifications for essential items through its browser extension, but its available product information does not establish broader store coverage or alert capabilities. Ibotta.

Set up a useful alert and act on it
- Track the exact item and variant, not just a general product family.
- Choose a channel you will notice—email, desktop, browser or push—and grant only the permissions needed for it.
- Review the service’s privacy information and whether it handles page data locally or remotely.
- Check its stated interval and any watch cap or subscription terms. A stated interval is not a guarantee that a notification will arrive at that interval.
- When notified, open the listing promptly, verify the selected variant and current price, and complete checkout if you still want the item.
Neither a retailer email nor a third-party alert reserves inventory. A product may sell out again before you reach checkout, and the reviewed service descriptions do not establish independent measurements of alert speed, stock accuracy or purchase success.
