How to get an ordinary Bounty Hunter Sprite

Start a Battle Royale or Zero Build match. Sprites are unavailable in competitive modes, according to Epic Games Support.

Eliminate opponents and watch for a Sprite to appear. Epic’s v42.20 wording, quoted by the current Sprite Checklist, says these combat-focused Sprites have a chance to appear when you eliminate opponents and level up only from eliminations.

Pick up the Sprite, then bank or extract it before the match ends. Finding or equipping a Sprite in a match lets you use its power, but does not by itself guarantee it is saved to your collection. Epic says a Sprite left unbanked when its carrier is eliminated remains on the battlefield for another player to pick up.

There is no confirmed percentage for the drop chance. Some guides quote 7%, but that figure is not supported by an official published rate; plan for a chance-based drop rather than a predictable number of eliminations.
What the Bounty Hunter variant does
Bounty Hunter is a variant available across multiple Sprite identities, not one individual Sprite. Its perk gives you a chance to find Sprites when eliminating opponents. Ordinary Bounty Hunter forms also gain Sprite XP from eliminations. The variant does not make every elimination produce a Sprite.

Bounty Hunter Crown has a separate unlock
Do not use the ordinary drop method as the only plan for Bounty Hunter Crown. Sprite Checklist reports that Crown is awarded automatically after winning a match with Loot Hacker Crown equipped. This is a tracker-reported special mastery unlock, so check the in-game collection if it does not appear after the win.
Are chests, Cheat Codes, or trading reliable alternatives?
Some current guides list Rare Chests, Cheat Codes, and trading with friends as possible ways to obtain Bounty Hunter forms. However, Sprite Checklist says Epic has not confirmed those as acquisition routes. Treat them as community-reported possibilities, not guaranteed or official methods; elimination drops are the better-supported route to plan around.

Beebom also gives location-specific Cheat Code hints for certain Sprite identities, but those suggestions do not establish a dependable route. If you try them, check the live game for current loot behavior and bank any Sprite you obtain before the match ends.

Sprite variants and event modifiers can change over time. Epic Support says Monday events may increase Legendary and Mythic Sprite appearances, double Sprite leveling, and award double Sprite Dust from extractions; Thursday events introduce a Sprite or variant; and Saturday Power Hours can offer a chance to obtain a missing variant. Epic cautions that schedules and modifiers change weekly, so consult its current channels and the in-game collection before relying on an event.

Availability reports can differ: Sprite Checklist’s October 1, 2026 update says Bounty Hunter was live for released Season 4 Sprites except the single-form Mega Man, and lists Birthday as arriving September 26. Beebom’s October 1 table still marks Bounty Hunter Birthday as “TBA.” Since these are time-sensitive reports and conflict, check your current in-game collection rather than relying on a fixed count or Birthday date.
