In manual mode, add an AI-generated page from Pages → Add page → Generate page, or insert a section between existing sections with Add section → Generate section. Describe the content, review and edit the result, then update the website to put the changes online. If generated cards need to show real products, blog posts, or booking pages, ask for those connections explicitly; otherwise, the result may contain placeholders.

Generate a page in manual mode

  1. In the website dashboard, find the site under Websites and choose Edit website.
  2. Expand Pages in the editor’s left panel.
  3. Select Add page, then Generate page.
  4. Enter a description and select Create page.
  5. Review and customize the generated page. When it is ready to go online, update the website.

The generator considers the wider site, including its business idea and mood, when creating a page. That context can help the new page fit the existing design, but you should still review the text, layout, and links before publishing. Hostinger’s manual-mode generation guide explains the page workflow.

Generate a section between existing sections

  1. In the editor, choose Add section between two adjoining sections.
  2. Select Generate section.
  3. Describe the section and choose Create section.
  4. Review and customize the result, then update the website when ready to publish.

Manual mode also offers template-based and blank sections. After adding a section, the editor’s documented controls let you change its background or layout, duplicate it, show or hide it, move it, or delete it. See Hostinger’s guide to adding and customizing sections for those options.

Describe the result you need—and name real site content

A detailed prompt is not required for the AI to draw on the site’s business idea and mood. For a more useful result, make the section’s purpose clear and specify the information or call to action it should include. These are practical prompting suggestions, not required prompt fields.

Be explicit if a generated blog, product, or appointment section must use existing site data. For example, ask it to connect to actual products, actual blog posts, or the relevant booking page. Without that direction, generated cards may be placeholders. Hostinger’s guidance on how generated pages and sections match a site’s mood describes the role of existing site context and the need to request connections to actual content.

Review, customize, and update the site

Think of the generated page or section as a draft to refine, not a finished change. Check its wording, images, layout, and links; correct anything that does not suit the site or its audience. When you are ready to make the change public, use the editor’s website update action. Generating content alone does not push it online.

Manual mode or agentic mode?

Manual mode is for hands-on editing of text, images, and sections. Agentic mode instead accepts changes described in an AI chat, which then edits the site. Choose manual mode when you want to work directly in the editor; choose the chat-based approach when you prefer to describe changes conversationally. Hostinger’s AI Builder guide describes the modes and says to confirm that the hosting plan meets the builder’s requirements. The reviewed guidance does not establish current plan names or regional eligibility terms, so check the requirements shown in your account.
