To complete “Furnish the Containment Unit,” carry seven objects into the Field Office Containment Unit and drop them onto their yellow floor markers: put the fan and lamp on the desk, the armchair behind it, two plastic chairs in front, and one traffic cone in each back corner. Use the “Drop Object” prompt for each item so the placement registers.
Where each object goes
Use the yellow markers as the placement guide. The walkthroughs describe this fixed layout:

| Object | Quantity | Placement |
|---|---|---|
| Desk fan | 1 | Left marker on the desk |
| Green desk lamp | 1 | Right marker on the desk |
| Traffic cones | 2 | One in each back corner |
| Upholstered armchair | 1 | Marker behind the desk |
| White plastic chairs | 2 | Markers in front of the desk |
These individual left/right and corner positions are specified in the walkthroughs from NerdsChalk and GamingProMax; PowerPyx also describes the overall arrangement.

How to make each placement count
- Pick up an object and carry it to the Containment Unit.
- Set it down over the yellow marker assigned to that object.
- Choose the “Drop Object” placement prompt rather than leaving the object nearby.
- Repeat for all seven objects, checking that each is on its marker.
If a placement does not register, reposition the item directly on its yellow marker and use the drop interaction again. The objective advances after all required placements register.

What happens next in A New Directive
Furnishing is one stage of the A New Directive side quest, not its conclusion. The walkthroughs direct you back toward Fra after this objective; later steps include preparing and hanging a portrait. You do not need to buy real-world furniture: the required items are in-game objects collected and placed in the room.

Quick Recap
Rank #4
- RUST-PROOF ALUMINUM – BUILT TO LAST: Crafted from premium aluminum instead of ordinary tinplate, this metal wall decor develops a natural protective oxide layer that prevents rust, corrosion, and moisture damage. It stays pristine even in high-humidity areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor patios, far outlasting traditional tin signs that lose their shine and rust over time.
- HD UV PRINTING – VIVID & FADE-RESISTANT: Printed with industrial-grade UV curing technology for crisp details, vibrant color gradients, and exceptional ink adhesion. The ink chemically bonds to the aluminum surface, resisting scratches, sunlight, and daily wear. It stays bright and clear for years outdoors without peeling, cracking, or fading.
- PERFECT SIZE – LIGHTWEIGHT & STURDY: At 8 x 12 inches, roughly the size of a standard US letter sheet, this sign easily fills any blank wall while remaining eye-catching. The flexible aluminum bounces back from shipping bends or accidental dents—just straighten by hand with no creases left. Four pre-drilled mounting holes allow quick installation with nails, rope, or double-sided tape on any wall, fence, or door.
- PREMIUM METAL FINISH – VERSATILE DECOR: The smooth, polished aluminum surface delivers a high-end metallic look that elevates any space, far surpassing flat tin or iron signs. Ideal for man caves, garages, bathrooms, backyards, farmhouses, bars, and offices—also a durable, one-of-a-kind gift for vintage decor lovers.
