If XSplit Broadcaster keeps disconnecting from YouTube on JioFiber, first confirm XSplit is actually broadcasting, then compare its configured bitrate with the app’s bandwidth test. Next, isolate Wi-Fi, household traffic and PC/encoder load one at a time. The available support guidance does not establish a JioFiber-specific XSplit fault, so the cause has to be narrowed down using your stream status and connection diagnostics.
1. Confirm XSplit has started the YouTube broadcast
- In XSplit Broadcaster, open Broadcast, select your configured YouTube output and start it.
- Check the status bar: XSplit says its red status bar indicates that it is broadcasting live. If it does not appear, troubleshoot the output or YouTube setup before changing your network.
- If live streaming has never been enabled for the YouTube channel, XSplit’s guide says first-time enablement requires a 24-hour wait. Complete that setup and wait before testing again.
Starting an output and maintaining a stable connection are separate issues. Once the output is live, note the time of any disconnection and the message shown in XSplit or YouTube.

2. Compare XSplit’s bandwidth test with the output bitrate
In the selected YouTube output’s gear or properties, run Test Bandwidth. XSplit recommends setting video bitrate to the average data rate calculated by this test. Its output properties guidance also notes that higher bitrates need more upload bandwidth, and that the right setting depends on resolution, frame rate and available upload speed. Use the test result and observed stability rather than assuming a single bitrate fits every stream.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →XSplit lists a minimum upload speed of 500 kbps for live streaming at its lowest settings. That is a baseline system requirement, not a recommended bitrate or evidence that a connection can sustain a particular resolution and frame rate. A headline speed-test result alone also does not show whether the configured output is stable.

- DUAL-BAND WIFI 6 ROUTER: Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) technology achieves faster speeds, greater capacity and reduced network congestion compared to the previous gen. All WiFi routers require a separate modem. Dual-Band WiFi routers do not support the 6 GHz band.
- AX1800: Enjoy smoother and more stable streaming, gaming, downloading with 1.8 Gbps total bandwidth (up to 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- CONNECT MORE DEVICES: Wi-Fi 6 technology communicates more data to more devices simultaneously using revolutionary OFDMA technology
- EXTENSIVE COVERAGE: Achieve the strong, reliable WiFi coverage with Archer AX1800 as it focuses signal strength to your devices far away using Beamforming technology, 4 high-gain antennas and an advanced front-end module (FEM) chipset
- OUR CYBERSECURITY COMMITMENT: TP-Link is a signatory of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure-by-Design pledge. This device is designed, built, and maintained, with advanced security as a core requirement.
3. Check JioFiber and Wi-Fi conditions
Run Jio’s diagnostics
- Open the MyJio app.
- Go to Home > JioCare > Run Diagnostics.
- Follow the prompts and note findings about network health, router status, Wi-Fi strength and device connectivity.
Jio’s prompts may identify weak Wi-Fi, loose cables, speed drops, configuration errors or device overload. Record the result and any action the app recommends.
Try Ethernet as an isolation test
If the streaming PC is on Wi-Fi, test once with a wired Ethernet connection, keeping the other settings as similar as practical. If stability changes, wireless coverage or interference may be involved. A wired test does not rule out an ISP, routing, YouTube ingest or software problem. A Cat 6 Ethernet cable is one option for the test, not a guaranteed fix.

Cloud Services allows remote management of devices at all locations as well as heartbeat monitoring of your Keep Connects to notify you in the event of an ISP internet outage at one of your sites.
4. Reduce competing traffic and check PC load
- Household use: Check whether other devices are using the connection heavily during the stream. XSplit lists other devices using the internet, low upload speed and unexpected ISP issues among possible network-side contributors. Repeat a test with other usage reduced, then compare.
- Encoding and system load: If the outgoing stream or recording is dropping frames, XSplit recommends reducing other processes, checking CPU/GPU pressure, and adjusting processing or encoding. Change one setting or workload at a time so you can tell what affects the result.
- Preview versus output: A stage-preview FPS dip by itself does not necessarily mean the outgoing stream is affected. Look for output or recording frame drops and YouTube stream-health messages before treating a preview dip as the cause of a disconnect.
5. Test YouTube’s backup server only after a baseline
XSplit’s YouTube output properties include a backup-server option for problems with the default server. First capture a test using your normal settings and note whether it disconnects. Then, if available, switch to the backup-server option and repeat under comparable conditions. Treat this as a controlled comparison, not a confirmed remedy for a home-network problem.
6. Keep a short troubleshooting log
If the problem continues, collect evidence before making more changes. It can help distinguish an output configuration issue from Wi-Fi, network load, PC resources or a server-side interruption.

If your goal is to keep prerecorded video playing as a YouTube live stream without leaving a home PC running, StreamNeo is a separate cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It streams uploaded videos to YouTube, not from a camera. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded quality is kept up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and the service automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. This is an alternative for prerecorded, always-on streaming, not a diagnosis or fix for an XSplit/JioFiber connection problem. Start the free day on StreamNeo.
