If Windows blocks iqvw64e.sys or reports a problem with pcdsrvc_x64.pkms, the filenames alone do not mean your PC is infected. The first is identified as Intel’s Network Adapter Diagnostic Driver, which Windows 11 24H2 may block as vulnerable; the second is associated with Dell SupportAssist and Dell PC Doctor. Update the relevant software or remove it if you no longer need it, then restart and check whether the warning returns.

Microsoft Q&A identifies iqvw64e.sys as Intel’s Network Adapter Diagnostic Driver. Windows 11 24H2 can block it under security protections because it is reported as a vulnerable driver. Microsoft Q&A users have reported problems with this driver in 24H2, but the filename by itself does not establish that the file is malware.

Why Windows blocks or reports them
For iqvw64e.sys, the warning reflects a Windows security decision to prevent a driver it considers vulnerable from loading. Microsoft Q&A records the message: “A security setting is detecting this as a vulnerable driver and blocking it from loading.” A blocked driver is not, by that fact alone, evidence of malware.

Update or remove the affected software safely
- Identify the computer and Windows version. Record the exact PC or motherboard model and your Windows version so you can select the right driver or utility package.
- For
iqvw64e.sys, get the network driver from the manufacturer. Use the support page for your exact PC or motherboard model and download its latest network or LAN driver. Reinstall the manufacturer’s package rather than downloading a driver from an unofficial mirror. If the change causes networking problems, use the manufacturer’s recovery or rollback option. - For
pcdsrvc_x64.pkms, update or uninstall Dell SupportAssist. Check Dell SupportAssist for a current compatible release. If the utility is unnecessary or cannot be updated, remove it through Windows Apps or Dell’s documented removal process. - Restart and check the result. See whether the warning returns after Windows starts again.
Keep Windows security protections enabled
Prefer replacing or removing the affected software over weakening Windows security protections to make an older driver load. The available evidence supports updating or uninstalling the relevant software; it does not support disabling Memory Integrity solely to bypass the block. Change security policy only if a qualified administrator has a documented reason to do so.
