If Streamlabs’ Mini Feed has stopped showing new Twitch follows, tips, subscriptions, or other events, refresh Streamlabs’ Twitch connection: sign out of Streamlabs, disconnect its authorization in Twitch, clear your browser cookies and cache, then sign back in to reconnect. Streamlabs’ instructions say this can help events appear going forward; it will not restore events already missing from the feed.
Refresh the Twitch connection to Streamlabs
Streamlabs’ dedicated instructions for Recent Events and Mini Feed recommend reconnecting the Twitch authorization. Follow the steps in order, including signing out of Streamlabs software—not just the website.

- Sign out of Streamlabs. Log out of Streamlabs.com and every Streamlabs app you are using, such as Streamlabs Desktop or Stream Labels.
- Disconnect Streamlabs in Twitch. While signed out, open Twitch’s Connections settings and disconnect the entry named “Streamlabs (Twitch Alerts)” or “Streamlabs / Streamlabs Dashboard,” whichever appears.
- Clear browser cookies and cache. Do this while logged out of Streamlabs.
- Sign back in to reconnect. Log in to Streamlabs.com and/or the relevant Streamlabs software using the Twitch account you want connected.
- Update widget or alert URLs if necessary. If reconnecting leaves an alert or widget integration broken, replace its URL in your streaming software with the current one from Streamlabs.
Streamlabs Support’s article, authored by Kevin and dated October 30, 2025, warns that reconnection “will not bring back any missing events into your feeds. It will only help moving forward.” Do not expect older missing entries to reappear.

If alerts or widgets are still not working
The checks below come from Streamlabs’ broader Alerts/Widget Troubleshooting guide, not its Mini Feed-specific fix. They are relevant when related alert or widget symptoms persist, but Streamlabs does not identify each one as a proven cause of missing Mini Feed events.

Check alert status and widget settings
- Look in Recent Events to see whether alerts are paused.
- Check whether Unlimited Alert Moderation Delay is holding alerts for approval.
- Review alert variations, custom HTML/CSS, animations, and the selected widget theme for misconfiguration.
Refresh the software connection and browser source
- Refresh the browser source in your streaming software.
- Relink the account if the connection still appears stale.
- Clear the streaming software’s browser cache, and check whether firewall or antivirus software is blocking access.
- Check that your system date and time are correct.
- Reset the API token only if needed. A token reset requires you to update widget URLs in your streaming software.
Separate feed problems from scene display problems
If events are arriving but an alert is not visible in a scene, that is a display issue rather than necessarily a Mini Feed connection problem. Streamlabs’ troubleshooting guide notes that source layering and browser hardware acceleration can affect whether an alert appears visually. Check those only when the symptom is an invisible scene alert.
Where to refresh or test an Alert Box
Streamlabs’ alert setup guide documents adding an Alert Box directly in Streamlabs Desktop, using the Streamlabs plugin in OBS, or adding it to other streaming software as a browser source with the widget URL. Its guide also describes testing alerts through the dashboard, Desktop, or plugin. A test Alert Box can help check alert display, but a successful test does not establish that the Mini Feed’s Twitch connection has been repaired.
