First identify which problem you have: a crash or low frame rate, trouble connecting to online services, or progress and content missing after a platform change. Ubisoft directs these problems to separate troubleshooting paths. The right next step depends on your platform and when the issue occurs.
Start by identifying the symptom
Note your platform—PC, PlayStation, or Xbox—and when the failure happens. A crash during startup is different from a crash during play; low frame rate is a performance issue, while an error connecting to online services belongs on the connectivity path.

- Crashes or low FPS: use Ubisoft’s The Crew Motorfest technical troubleshooting guide.
- Online connection errors: use Ubisoft’s Motorfest connectivity troubleshooting guide.
- Missing progress or content after switching platforms: verify the Ubisoft account linked to the game, then check whether the item is covered by cross-progression.
Ubisoft’s support pages direct players to those guides but do not establish one universal repair step for every platform or error. Follow the live instructions for your system rather than assuming that changing DNS, reinstalling, forwarding ports, or another generic fix applies.
Fix crashes or poor performance
Use Ubisoft’s technical troubleshooting guide for the platform where the crash or low FPS occurs. If the issue happens only at startup, record that; if it occurs during a particular activity or after a repeatable sequence, capture those details as well. The trigger can help support distinguish a launch failure from an in-game crash or performance problem.

What PC players should prepare for support
For a PC performance support case, Ubisoft asks for current DxDiag and MSInfo reports. These diagnostics can provide system information relevant to investigating the problem; submit them through Ubisoft Support if requested.
Fix connection errors
Use Ubisoft’s Motorfest connectivity guide for connection failures. If its applicable steps do not resolve the problem, contact Ubisoft Support with the exact error text or code, your platform, and when the failure occurs.

A connection error by itself does not establish that Ubisoft’s servers are down. Check Ubisoft’s current service information before treating an issue as a live outage; service status can change, and no live outage status is established here.

Recover missing progress or content after changing platforms
Start by confirming that the same Ubisoft account is being used on the new platform as on the original one. Ubisoft says, “The Crew Motorfest supports automatic cross-progression between all platforms.” That does not mean every purchase, item, or entitlement transfers: Ubisoft describes only “some in-game content” as shared.

- 1 player game Network Players 2-16 - Full game requires PlayStation Plus membership to access online multiplayer
- Check which Ubisoft account is linked to your game on each platform.
- Confirm that the account with the expected progress or content is the one you are using.
- If progress is present but a particular item or purchase is not, ask Ubisoft Support to check that specific entitlement. The available cross-progression guidance does not identify every item that is shared.
Check whether a recent update addressed your issue
Ubisoft’s Season 11 patch notes, dated October 7, 2026, list fixes for several crashes, a challenge-related disconnection error, an Xbox Series error message after internet is lost in the main menu, and a missing reward pop-up. A listed fix is not a guarantee that it resolves every similar symptom.
The same notes list update downloads of 52 GB for PC, 12 GB for Xbox Series, 9 GB for Xbox One, 10 GB for PS5, and 9 GB for PS4. These are the stated Season 11 patch sizes, not system requirements.
