If Streamlabs Recent Events or Mini Feed has stopped showing new tips, follows, subscriptions, or other events, start by reconnecting Streamlabs to Twitch: log out of Streamlabs, disconnect its Twitch connection, clear your browser cookies and cache, then sign back in with Twitch. Streamlabs says this is intended to help new events appear going forward; it will not restore events already missing. After reconnecting, check whether any widget or alert URLs in your streaming software need updating.
1. Reconnect Streamlabs to Twitch
Use this sequence for events missing from Recent Events or Mini Feed. Streamlabs’ topic-specific support article, published October 30, 2025, recommends logging out, disconnecting the Twitch connection, clearing browser data, and signing back in.

Streamlabs cautions: “This will not bring back any missing events into your feeds. It will only help moving forward.”
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2. Identify whether the feed or the on-stream widget is broken
Recent Events and Mini Feed are feeds in Streamlabs. An Event List is a viewer-facing widget that displays recent events on stream; an Alert Box is another stream-facing component. A feed can update correctly while an overlay fails to render, or an overlay can work while events are absent from the feed. Troubleshoot the symptom where it appears rather than treating the two as the same problem.

| What you see | Where to troubleshoot | First action |
|---|---|---|
| New events are absent from Recent Events or Mini Feed | Streamlabs account connection | Follow the reconnect sequence above. |
| Events appear in the feed but not on the stream preview | Alert Box or Event List widget | Check the widget source and alert settings in your broadcasting software. |
| Only a particular event type is absent | Platform-specific event behavior | Check whether that event has a platform-specific limitation or delay. |
3. If an Event List or alert is missing from the stream
These checks apply to an overlay or alert that is not displaying or behaving correctly; they do not replace the account reconnection steps for a broken Recent Events feed. Streamlabs documents its widgets for Streamlabs Desktop, its OBS plugin, and compatible broadcasting software using a browser source.
- Check that alerts are not paused.
- Refresh the browser source, or remove and add it again.
- Confirm that the source contains the correct widget URL. For third-party broadcasting software, retrieve the URL from the Streamlabs dashboard’s widget settings and paste it into the browser-source settings.
- Relink the account if the widget or alert is no longer connected.
- Clear the browser cache used by the streaming software, then test an alert.
- For visual or alert-specific problems, check source layering, browser hardware acceleration, moderation delay, alert variations, the selected widget theme, and custom HTML/CSS.
Streamlabs’ Alerts/Widget Troubleshooting guide covers these overlay checks. See also its instructions for setting up the Event List, setting up alerts, and locating and using widget URLs.

4. Check for platform-specific event behavior
If the feed works for some events but not others, the cause may be specific to the platform or event type rather than a general feed failure. Streamlabs’ troubleshooting guidance says some Twitch resubscriptions do not appear unless the subscriber shares the resubscription in chat. It also says YouTube subscriber alerts can be delayed by up to four hours. These are specific cases, not explanations for every missing event.
Or let it run in the cloud
