Steam lists the following minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version. They are platform-listed specifications, not guaranteed FPS targets, and falling below one of them does not by itself identify the cause of a particular stutter.

Check your CPU, graphics card, installed RAM, Windows version, DirectX support, and free storage against the table. If a component is below minimum, that is a reason to investigate system compatibility; it is not proof that the component is causing the symptom. A PC meeting the recommended figures is not guaranteed to avoid stuttering.
If your system has less than the listed recommended 16 GB of memory, a compatible memory upgrade is one option to consider after confirming what your PC supports. The requirements do not establish that RAM causes any individual player’s stutters, so do not buy memory on the assumption that it will fix the game.

Check whether an update addressed your specific symptom
The official Starsand Island update announcements describe two changes relevant to performance, but their scope matters.

If you experience a hitch specifically when Daily Commissions refresh, use your platform’s normal update process to make sure the game is current, then see whether that same event still triggers it. The update note says the developers reduced that specific stutter; it does not promise that updating resolves every report.

What to do when the cause is still unclear
There is no verified universal FPS fix in the official information available here. It does not provide Starsand Island-specific graphics-setting values, driver instructions, launch options, or shader-cache steps. Treat generic PC troubleshooting advice as unverified for this game rather than assuming any particular change will solve your problem.

Steam’s technical support page identifies Seed Sparkle Lab as the developer and publisher and lists Official Support at [email protected]. If the problem continues, a concise report can include your PC specifications, game version, what the symptom looks like, and the activity or moment that reproduces it. These are useful details to provide, not published developer requirements.
