If your Galaxy lost service or started dropping calls after you changed an AT command or service-menu setting, begin with Samsung’s ordinary network troubleshooting steps—but don’t assume a general reset will undo an unknown modem change. Samsung’s guidance covers no-signal and call-disconnection problems; it does not document a command-specific repair. The exact model, carrier, software version, and setting changed determine whether a safe targeted recovery is known.
First, identify what is failing
A phone showing no service, unable to place calls, or repeatedly dropping calls needs mobile-network troubleshooting. If the phone otherwise has service and the issue is only that calls from unknown or private numbers do not arrive, check call-blocking settings instead. Samsung lists device settings, network conditions, and mobile-network configuration as possible causes; the symptom alone does not establish that an AT command damaged the phone.

Samsung cautions that “Menu names, settings, and screen layouts may vary depending on the model and software version.” Treat the paths below as likely locations and follow the labels shown on your device.
Try the low-risk checks first
Install an available software update
Open Settings > Software update (the label or location may differ), then check for and install an offered update. Restart if prompted.

Make sure Airplane mode is off
Open Settings > Connections and verify that Airplane mode is off. You can also check the Quick settings panel, if the control is shown there.
Check call blocking only for incoming-call problems
If the problem is specifically missed calls from unknown or private numbers, review the Phone app’s call-blocking settings and remove any block that should not apply. This is not a substitute for troubleshooting when the phone has no network registration or cannot make calls.

Reset mobile-network settings carefully
For persistent signal loss or call drops, Samsung’s US troubleshooting guide recommends a mobile-network reset. On supported devices, the likely path is Settings > General management > Reset > Reset mobile network settings > Reset settings > Reset. Read the device’s confirmation screen before accepting; reset options and their effects can vary.

This is a standard troubleshooting step, not a documented way to restore every modem parameter that might have been changed through an AT command. Samsung’s cited guidance does not explain AT commands, modem NV settings, or service-menu restoration.
Restore APN settings if mobile connectivity is still affected
An incorrect Access Point Name (APN) can prevent a mobile-network connection. If mobile data or network connectivity remains affected, Samsung documents returning APN values to default. The likely path is Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > More options > Reset to default.

Do not enter values found at random. If the defaults do not restore service, ask your carrier for the APN settings that apply to your plan and device.
Check the available network mode
Open Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode, if that option is available. Samsung notes that a selected mode may not connect properly in some environments. Try only modes offered by your handset that are appropriate for your carrier and location; options differ by model and network. Do not force a legacy mode or change hidden band settings.

Run diagnostics, then contact support
Use Samsung Members if available
If the preceding checks do not resolve the problem, open Samsung Members > Support > Get Started > Mobile network and run the diagnostic, if the app and device provide it. Samsung’s diagnostic instructions require the Samsung Members app.
Give Samsung or your carrier the details they need
If service is still unavailable, contact Samsung or your carrier. Provide the Galaxy model, software version, carrier, exact symptom, and the AT command or service-menu setting you changed, if known. Because Samsung’s cited instructions do not identify a safe command to reverse an unknown change, avoid trying guessed AT commands, hidden service-menu edits, firmware flashing, or a factory reset as an improvised fix. A targeted recovery cannot be established without authoritative instructions for the exact device, firmware, carrier, and command.
