Each has a different fix. Use the checks below in that order before considering a hardware fault or warranty claim.
My body does not fit in the camera view during setup
Check that the console is placed according to Nex Playground’s official placement guidance, then use the built-in tracking tools before restarting:

- On the console, open Help > Setup Essentials > Motion Tracking.
- Try the Tips first, then run Tracking Assistant.
- If tracking is still incorrect, restart the console from Settings > System > About.
For placement and operating-condition guidance, see Nex Playground’s camera-view troubleshooting instructions. The device’s tracking tools and its placement guidance are the right starting points; a tracking complaint does not by itself establish a hardware failure.
I cannot connect to Wi-Fi
First check whether the network opens a web login page after you join. Nex Playground does not support Wi-Fi networks that require a captive-portal login, commonly used in hotels, schools, and airports, or Wi-Fi proxy settings. Try another network or a mobile hotspot. If the console connects there, the original network is the likely source of the issue.

For a home network
- Confirm the network name and password are correct.
- If the console has used this network before, forget it and join again.
- Restart the router, modem, or extender.
- Restart the console through Settings > System > About.
On an enterprise or tightly managed network, an administrator may need to allow npg.games and nexplayground.com and unblock ports 17443, 18443, 30906, and 443. This is an administrator-level check, not a routine change for a home network. See the full Nex Playground Wi-Fi troubleshooting guide.
Is the game still installing, frozen, or failing to display?
“The game won’t start” can describe different problems. Check whether the game is ready to play before using the force-quit tool or troubleshooting the TV signal.

A game tile says Pending or Installing
During first-time setup, the starter games download over Wi-Fi and can take up to an hour depending on internet speed, according to Nex Playground’s first-time setup instructions. A tile marked Pending or Installing is not ready. Wait until that status disappears, then select Play. If the download does not progress, check the Wi-Fi connection.

If the game was already installed but has frozen or will not recover, use Nex Playground’s built-in force-quit option:

- Open Settings > System > Fix stuck games.
- Confirm with the controller’s middle button.
- Launch the game again.
Alternatively, open the affected game’s details screen and choose Game Stuck?. If the game still will not recover, reboot the console. The official stuck-game instructions cover both routes.
I am seeing a black screen/blank screen
A blank display points to the TV input, HDMI connection, or another connected device as well as the console. Check the signal path before power-cycling:

- Make sure the TV is on the HDMI input connected to Nex Playground.
- Try another HDMI port on the TV.
- Temporarily disconnect other devices from the TV; a streaming device or receiver can interfere.
- If available, test with another HDMI cable. Nex Playground’s setup instructions say an HDMI cable is included.
- If the display remains blank, unplug the console’s power and unplug the adapter from the wall. Wait at least 10 seconds, then reconnect. During diagnosis, plug the power adapter directly into a wall outlet.

When to use the Troubleshooting Tool
If these checks do not resolve a suspected hardware issue, use Nex Playground’s guided Troubleshooting Tool. Nex Playground says warranty claims can only be submitted through that tool. Its guided checks must be completed before the claim form appears; a claim does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Have the console connected to a TV and power, plus clear photos or video showing the issue. You will also need proof of purchase showing the purchase date, order number, item, and seller. A gift receipt is accepted for a gift.
