As of October 13, 2026, Gameloft lists a global release date of October 15, 2026. If a different Bluey app is crashing or failing to load on your phone, use the general iOS or Android troubleshooting steps below—but don’t treat them as fixes for Gameloft’s game.
First, check which Bluey app you have
Gameloft describes Bluey’s Happy Snaps as a photo-focused adventure in which Bluey and Bingo use Dad’s old camera, collect decorations and stickers, and build a scrapbook. The publisher says the game has no online play or in-game purchases. Those details can help distinguish it from a separate Bluey mobile app or photo-sharing app. Gameloft’s official game page has the product description.

Gameloft’s September 9, 2026 announcement gives a global release date of October 15, 2026, and lists PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC platforms. Its earlier March 26, 2026 announcement specifies PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Neither announcement lists an iPhone or Android version. That does not rule out a future mobile announcement; check Gameloft’s current product information if you’re reading this after launch.

Check the title and publisher shown on the app or game listing. If you found a phone app, don’t assume it is Gameloft’s Bluey’s Happy Snaps or follow instructions meant for that game. Contact the app’s listed publisher if its identity or legitimacy is unclear.

The steps below are general troubleshooting for apps on iPhone, iPad or Android. Apple’s and Google’s guidance covers mobile apps generally, not reported defects in Bluey’s Happy Snaps.
Try general fixes on iPhone or iPad
Apple recommends the following sequence when an app won’t open or behaves unexpectedly. Apple’s app troubleshooting guidance includes the steps and warns that deleting an app can remove data stored in it.

- Force close the app, then open it again.
- Restart your iPhone or iPad and try the app again.
- Check the App Store for an update to the app and install it if available.
- If there is no app update, check for an iOS or iPadOS update and install it if appropriate.
- If the problem continues, contact the app’s developer.
Only delete and redownload the app after considering whether its saved data is backed up: Apple cautions that data stored in the app may be lost.

Try general fixes on Android
Google Play’s troubleshooting guidance and Disney Games and Apps Help Center’s Android guidance recommend basic checks for Android apps and games. Menu names vary by phone, so the precise path to an app’s settings may differ.

- Restart the phone.
- Check for Android system and app updates.
- Force stop the app, then reopen it.
- Clear the app’s cache in Android settings. This is different from clearing app data.
- Check the internet connection and available storage if the app needs network access or space to run.
Disney’s Android guidance, dated September 23, 2026, warns: “Do not uninstall the app before taking all troubleshooting steps, as you may permanently lose your game progress.” Clearing app data or uninstalling can erase saved data, so avoid either unless you understand what will be removed and have confirmed any backup or account-based recovery.
If the problem persists
- If only one app is affected, contact its developer using the support information on the app’s store listing.
- If other apps also fail, check for system updates and device storage issues; your phone manufacturer or platform support may be able to help.
- When contacting support, include the app’s exact name and publisher, your device model and operating-system version, what happens when you open it, and which steps you have tried. Don’t share passwords or payment details.
What the related Activity Book Edition is—and isn’t
Gameloft has also announced a physical Activity Book Edition containing the game, a 44-page activity book and additional sticker sheets. It is a related product, not a software repair or a way to install the game on a phone. Physical retail availability can vary by region.
