Bluey’s Happy Snaps is an exploration game built around finding playful moments, photographing them, and arranging the pictures in a scrapbook. Its announced release date is October 15, 2026. Official pre-release descriptions explain the main activities, but not exact camera controls or every task’s completion requirements.
How the gameplay loop works
Bluey and Bingo find Dad’s old camera and explore their family home and Brisbane-inspired locations. The announced loop is to look around, find games or wildlife to photograph, then save favorite snapshots and decorate scrapbook pages.

The camera is for more than wildlife: official descriptions also mention photographing games and playful moments. Named wildlife examples include water dragons, lorikeets, koalas, and bin chickens. The descriptions do not provide a full subject list or say which subjects are required for particular scrapbook entries.

Scrapbook pages, stickers, and decoration
Photos are saved to a scrapbook that players can personalize with collected stickers and decorations. Official descriptions also mention coloring in and arranging pages. The scrapbook is the game’s keepsake for favorite moments; the announced material does not detail how many pages or collectibles there are, or whether particular photos unlock specific decorations.
How local two-player play is described
Buddy or co-op play is local and side-by-side: the lead player manages the camera while a second player explores and poses. Nintendo’s listing specifies one-system play for one to two players. Official listings describe no online play, so this is not an online multiplayer option.

Platforms and practical version differences
The official Bluey page announces digital versions for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. It also says physical retail editions are planned for PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2 in select markets. Check local availability and edition details before choosing a physical copy.

Release date and purchase model
The announced release date is October 15, 2026, according to the current Bluey page and the publisher’s September 9, 2026 news item. Gameloft’s March 26, 2026 announcement had described the launch more generally as later in 2026. The official descriptions present the game as a premium release with no in-game purchases.
