If your Nothing Headphone (1) Pro won’t connect or isn’t showing up in Bluetooth, power on the headset, hold its Bluetooth pairing button until the white LED flashes, then select Headphone (1) Pro in your phone or computer’s Bluetooth settings. If it still won’t reconnect, forget the saved headset entry and pair again. Nothing’s documented factory reset is a 10-second hold of the pairing button, but try that only after basic pairing recovery.
Put Headphone (1) Pro into pairing mode
-
Power on the headphones.
-
Press and hold the dedicated Bluetooth pairing button until the white LED flashes. Nothing identifies the flashing white light as the pairing-mode indication. If no light appears, check that the headset has charge before treating the problem as a Bluetooth fault: Nothing says a red LED indicates battery below 30%, while no light means the battery is fully depleted. See Nothing’s Headphone (1) Pro product page.

On the phone, computer, or other source device, open Bluetooth settings and select Headphone (1) Pro. Menu names vary by device. Nothing also lists Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and Apple MFi one-tap setup, but whether a setup prompt appears depends on the source device and its settings.

If Headphone (1) Pro is listed but won’t reconnect
Remove or forget the saved Headphone (1) Pro entry in the source device’s Bluetooth settings. Then put the headset back into pairing mode and select it again. This is a general Bluetooth troubleshooting step; Nothing’s model-specific instructions cover the headset’s pairing control and reset, not a device-by-device guide to forgetting a connection.
#1 Best Overall
- Triple Driver Architecture: Experience balanced, detailed audio with Nothing Headphone (1) Pro wireless headphones, built around a dedicated three-driver system featuring a 40 mm bass driver, precision driver, and treble XMEMS driver. Each driver is engineered to handle part of the frequency range, working together to unlock deeper bass, sharper vocals and richer textures across music, gaming, and more.
- Certified Hi-Res Audio for wireless and wired listening: Enjoy high-quality wireless audio with LDAC, or connect via USB-C for lossless, high-fidelity playback at up to 24-bit/192 kHz.
- 10-Mic Real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation: Nothing Headphone (1) Pro delivers up to 46 dB of Active Noise Cancellation with 10 microphones and a new silicone sound seal. Ten microphones monitor your surroundings and automatically adjust noise cancellation in real time to reduce unwanted background noise. A new 8 mm silicone wall baffle wall inside the ear cushion provides passive isolation, while Transparency Mode lets you hear your surroundings when needed.
- Studio-Level Tuning with Metropolis Studios: Nothing partnered with Metropolis Studios, home to some of the world’s most influential audio engineers, to bring studio-level tools to Nothing Headphone (1) Pro noise cancelling headphone. Listen to the raw track with Flat EQ for reviewing music, producing or mixing, discover new EQ Profiles and feel what it's like to listen in a recording studio through a unique Dynamic Spatial Audio mode.
- Spatial Audio & Advanced EQ: Dynamic Spatial Audio has five modes: Standard, Studio B, Live House, Club and Concert Hall. Advanced EQ gives you precise control over your sound, letting you drag tuning points across multiple drivers.
If the headphones keep connecting to the wrong device
Headphone (1) Pro supports dual connection, but Nothing says the feature is off by default and must be enabled in the Nothing X app. If you switch between two source devices, check the dual-connection setting. While diagnosing, temporarily disconnect an unused host so you can tell which device is supplying audio. That is a practical isolation step, not a guaranteed manufacturer fix. Details are in Nothing’s Product Feature support article.
If the connection drops or works only nearby
Nothing lists a nominal Bluetooth connection range of 10 m, not a guaranteed distance in every setting. Walls, obstacles, and wireless interference can reduce Bluetooth range. Test with the headset closer to the source and fewer obstacles between them. Nothing’s support discussion of environmental range specifically concerns Auracast broadcast audio, so it should not be read as a measured one-to-one Headphone (1) Pro pairing result.

Reset Bluetooth pairing as a last resort
If pairing again does not solve the problem, Nothing documents this factory-reset procedure: press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for 10 seconds. Nothing says a successful reset is shown by three red LED flashes followed by a white flash. That sequence is different from the flashing white LED used to indicate pairing mode. A reset may mean setting up the connection again; it does not guarantee a fix. See Nothing Support’s reset guidance.

Compatibility details that can affect setup
Nothing lists Bluetooth 6.1, Android 8.0 and above, iOS 13 and above, and a 10 m connection range for the headset. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of connection reliability. Nothing separately states that Fast Pair is available on supported Android devices with Google Play services 11.7 or later, with compatibility back to Android 6.0; that Fast Pair eligibility is not the same as the headset’s general Android compatibility line. Check the official specifications and setup notes if you are troubleshooting an older device.
