Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo stop a streaming charge, first find out who bills you, then cancel through that company or platform. Check your Apple, Google Play, and Roku subscription lists, search email for receipts, and match any charge on your bank or card statement to its billing provider. Deleting the streaming app does not cancel a subscription.
Find out who bills you
The place you watch a service is not necessarily the place you pay for it. You may have subscribed through the streaming company, Apple, Google Play, Roku, or another provider. The billing route determines where cancellation takes place.

- Search your email. Look for the service name and words such as “receipt,” “invoice,” or “subscription.” Check other email accounts if you do not find a match.
- Review subscription dashboards. Check the Apple Account, Google Play account, and Roku account you may have used. If a subscription is missing, try other accounts associated with you.
- Check your payment statement. Find the charge and its descriptor. If you cannot identify the billing company from the receipt or account page, use the statement to identify whom to contact.
Apple advises customers to find an Apple receipt and check which Apple Account appears on it. If there is no Apple receipt, Apple recommends checking the bank or card statement to identify the company billing the subscription: Apple subscription and billing guidance.

Apple-billed subscriptions
On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, select the subscription, and follow the cancellation prompts. Apple notes that procedures can vary by country or region. If you cannot find the subscription, check the Apple Account on the receipt and any other Apple Accounts you use. If there is no cancel button or the page shows an expiration message in red, Apple says the subscription is already canceled. For an Apple-billed free trial covered by its instructions, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Google Play-billed subscriptions
Open Google Play subscription management, select the subscription, and use the cancellation option under Manage. If it is not listed, check other Google accounts: the subscription may be attached to a different one. Google says cancellation stops the next renewal, while access can continue until the current paid period ends. See Google Play’s subscription cancellation instructions.
Roku-billed subscriptions
Review subscriptions at my.roku.com/subscriptions or from your Roku device, then turn off auto-renew for the subscription. Roku says access continues through the current billing cycle. A free trial must be canceled before its trial period ends. If you subscribed directly with the streaming service rather than through Roku, cancel with that provider instead. See Roku’s subscription cancellation guidance.

Subscriptions billed directly or by another provider
If the receipt or statement shows the streaming company itself, sign in to that service and use its account or billing settings to cancel. If another provider appears, such as a carrier or payment partner, contact that provider. Use the billing company shown on the receipt or statement rather than assuming the app or device manufacturer controls the plan.
Keep proof and check for another charge
Save the cancellation confirmation or email, and note when and how you canceled. The Federal Trade Commission recommends keeping a copy of the cancellation request and notes about conversations. Watch your bank or card statements after cancellation. If the company continues charging after your request, contact your card issuer about disputing the charge. This guidance does not guarantee a refund; the outcome and available rights depend on the circumstances and applicable rules. See the FTC’s consumer advice on trials and auto-renewing subscriptions.
