Compare the same edition and condition, enter your delivery address, and check what the retailer collects at checkout versus what could still be charged on delivery.
Compare the same 4K edition—not just the same film
Before comparing prices, confirm that each listing is for the same release and condition. A standard case, steelbook, collector’s edition, and used copy are different offers even if they contain the same film. Check the edition details and the discs included so you are not comparing a bonus-disc package with a different release.

For an import, check compatibility for every disc in the package with your playback equipment. Do not assume that the film disc and bonus discs have identical playback behavior, or that every disc will play on every device.
Build a delivered-cost comparison
Use the address where the disc will actually be delivered: destination and shipping method can affect both the available delivery options and charges. For each seller, record the following from the live listing and checkout:

- Item price: Confirm the exact edition, format, and condition.
- Shipping: Include the shipping charge and estimated delivery time.
- Tax and import charges at checkout: Note any tax, import-fee estimate, deposit, or service charge displayed.
- Possible charges on delivery: Read the retailer’s terms to see whether charges may be collected later.
- Returns: Check the return terms, particularly for an imported or used item.
Compare the resulting total and terms, not just the sticker price. An estimate or an item-page price does not prove that no further charge can arise. Retailers’ collection practices differ, so check the terms for the specific seller and order.
Understand what the retailer collects—and what it may not
Amazon says applicable import fees can depend on destination customs rules, product category and price, and shipping method. Where applicable, Amazon’s terms describe collecting an Import Fees Deposit or Import Charges. These are Amazon policies, not a universal promise about other sellers or every listing; review the order’s terms and checkout for your address. For Amazon Global Store, Amazon UK Help says the service displays the complete amount in the customer’s currency for its international products, including import duties, taxes, and fees, with estimated delivery rates below the item price. The same page says Global Store items are available for delivery within the UK only. Check the live listing and checkout, since these details describe that service rather than all Amazon purchases. Amazon’s Global Store Terms and Conditions state: “Your order may be subject to local taxes in the UK (or your delivery country) and if VAT does not apply, you are responsible for paying any taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by customs authorities in the UK or your delivery country.” Read the terms for the specific service rather than assuming that an upfront estimate settles every possible charge.

Amazon also publishes international delivery rates and times, including route-specific examples for media. Rates can change and vary by route; some US deliveries may also incur state and local sales taxes. Treat the help-page examples as service-specific information, not a quote for your order: use the current checkout with your address. Check Amazon’s international delivery guidance.
For UK deliveries, check current government guidance
If the delivery address is in the UK, consult GOV.UK’s tax and customs guidance for goods sent from abroad and its Trade Tariff lookup. GOV.UK says the Customs Duty rate for goods above £135 depends on the type of goods and where they came from; the lookup can help identify commodity codes and check tax or duty. That figure is not a universal no-cost threshold for all taxes or destinations. If you are elsewhere, use your own government’s current customs guidance instead.

Make the final choice
- Shortlist reputable sellers offering the exact 4K edition and condition.
- Enter your delivery address and select the shipping method you would actually use.
- Record item price, shipping, delivery estimate, checkout taxes or import charges, and any stated possibility of charges on delivery.
- Check return terms and compatibility for every included disc.
- Choose based on the comparable delivered cost and terms—not the headline item price alone.
Stock, prices, delivery rates, and customs and tax rules can change. Recheck the retailer checkout and the relevant government guidance when you buy.
