Start with LEGO’s official Replacement Parts page and choose the route that matches what happened: a missing piece, a damaged piece, a whole missing bag, or a part you want to buy. Before you submit a request, find the set number and identify the exact piece from the instructions. Replacement eligibility, availability and cost depend on your country and situation, so use your local LEGO support page.
Choose the right route for the problem
LEGO separates replacement requests from buying parts, and it provides dedicated help topics for several common cases. Use the route that describes your situation rather than entering every problem into the same form.

LEGO’s US support navigation uses the labels “Missing Bricks,” “Broken Bricks” and “Buy Bricks.” Labels and available options can vary by country, so follow the links and wording on your local LEGO service page.

- Find the set number. Check the box or the building instructions. If you no longer have either, use LEGO’s support topics for identifying a set number.
- Open the parts inventory or contents in the instructions. Match the missing or damaged element to the illustration and note its piece number, color and quantity.
- Check the identification carefully. Similar-looking pieces can have different numbers. LEGO lists help topics for identifying piece numbers and special pieces; if you cannot confidently match the part, contact LEGO rather than guessing.
- Submit the request through the matching local route. Provide the set and piece details requested by the form, along with a clear description of the issue.
Keep the set number, piece number, country and a concise account of what happened handy if you need to contact LEGO support. Do not assume a part is eligible or in stock until the local service page confirms what is available.

What to expect from a replacement request
Missing pieces, damaged pieces and ordinary loss are not interchangeable cases. LEGO’s US customer-service page says broken bricks can be requested free of charge, while its Canada replacement page shows missing and broken parts as separate paths from buying parts. Those pages do not establish a universal free-replacement policy for every region, old set or lost piece. Check the terms shown for your country and request type.
LEGO’s Canada page also says it does not provide repair services or maintenance and repair information, though some replacement parts are available. The supported option is to request or buy an available replacement element—not to expect LEGO to repair a brick or set.

If LEGO’s replacement route does not fit
Buy the individual piece
If a replacement request is unsuitable or the element is not available through that route, check LEGO’s separate parts-buying option. LEGO’s US page directs customers to Pick a Brick, and LEGO Canada lists “Buy pieces” separately. Stock and options can differ by location.

Look for an older or unavailable part
If LEGO does not offer the part, you can consider a reputable parts marketplace. Search using the exact piece number, then verify the seller, piece identity, color, condition and compatibility before purchasing. No particular marketplace listing or its stock is verified here.

LEGO Education support for BricQ Motion Essential offers packs for commonly lost elements and directs users to LEGO.com for elements outside those packs. Its guidance also covers item numbers and, for customers outside the US, local distributors. Check the instructions for your specific Education product and follow the applicable ordering guidance.
