Corroded Stone is reported in a white stone chest at the end of the Sunken Village Beacon route, inside Wortbriar Encampment in Glutted Mire. It adds damage over time to projectile hits. To reach it, cleanse the Sunken Village Beacon, cross the encampment, break three energy pillars, then enter the cavern and open the chest beyond the worm.
Where to find Corroded Stone
The reported pickup is inside the Sunken Village Beacon instance—not simply out in the open area of Glutted Mire. You enter Wortbriar Encampment by choosing Cleanse Beacon at the Sunken Village Beacon. Route to the chest

Start at Mushroom Village Gate. Cleanse the beacon, then pass through the Corrupted Gate toward Sunken Village.

Continue through the region until you reach the Sunken Village Beacon and choose Cleanse Beacon to enter Wortbriar Encampment.

Move through the encampment using its wooden platforms and walkways. The guide says you can run past the guards, but does not say you can bypass the pillars or chest route.

Break the three glowing energy pillars to open the lower passage, then drop into the candle-lit cavern.

Defeat or pass the large worm and open the white stone chest beyond it to collect Corroded Stone.

What Corroded Stone does
Corroded Stone is described as a Combat Tarstone: projectile hits continue dealing damage after impact. The Mortal Shell 2 Database lists these damage ticks, each lasting 30 seconds and occurring every 7 seconds:

The damage percentages and timing are consistent between the database and the item guide, but their level labels are not: NerdsChalk assigns those same 8%, 12%, and 15% effects to Levels 2, 3, and 4, respectively, after a generic Level 1 effect. Check the item screen in your current game version before relying on a particular level number. How to upgrade it
The guides say Tarstones are upgraded at the Tarforge. Their stated unlock path uses Etching Needles found in Glutted Mire: take the needles to Franz in Marrow Keep to unlock the Tarforge, then spend Tarstone experience and Coin to upgrade. PowerPyx also identifies Etching Needles as the Tarstone upgrade unlock found in Glutted Mire after the Sunken Village Beacon, but the sources do not establish a precise current-build pickup position. Other reported ways to obtain Corroded Stone
The item database says Corroded Stone rolls for every sidearm and may be offered by Naylshotte or Salvaged Trebuchaxe. It also lists a chest or a Tarforge roll as possible sources.
