To hear about future free Monsters & Memories playtests, register or log in through the official account portal, join the mailing list, and follow the game’s official Discord. As of October 4, 2026, no next free playtest date has been announced. The separate development-client page says its test servers are closed; registering there does not mean a playable test is open.
How to get playtest announcements

Visit the official Early Access overview and open the game’s account portal. Create an account or log in.

Sign up for the mailing list and join the official Discord. The studio directs people to those channels for future playtest announcements and possible Alpha or Beta selection; monitor them for a specific date and access instructions.

Check the development-client account page when an announcement points you there. Its notice says future test dates will be announced through the newsletter and Discord.

Can you play a free test right now?
No upcoming free test is established as of October 4, 2026. The development-client page says its servers are currently closed. It allows visitors to create a character and move around a local campfire scene, but says that mode has no gameplay. That notice applies to the development-client environment; it does not mean the separate Early Access game is offline.
Free playtest or paid Early Access?
These are different ways of accessing the game. The official account portal lists Early Access at $15 per month plus applicable tax. That is the price of the live Early Access subscription, not a fee to register interest in a free playtest.

The official overview describes continued free playtests and stress tests as a plan, but its wording was published before Early Access launched. It is not confirmation that a free test is open now.
Are old beta-key or lottery instructions still valid?
Treat Closed Beta key and lottery instructions as historical, not as the current way to join a test. Forum discussions in July 2026 covered invitations, a website lottery, and community key raffles; an official December 2025 update described lottery opt-in and future open tests before Early Access. Those references do not establish a current lottery, key giveaway, or upcoming free-test schedule.

What happened to the announced beta dates?
The official September 2026 update scheduled Closed Beta to end on September 24, 2026, and Early Access to begin on October 1, 2026, at 9 a.m. Bahrain time (02:00 Eastern). Those dates have passed. The update also warned that dates could change, so they should not be read as a future playtest schedule.
